Hi there everyone,
I'm not sure exactly where to post this question, so I'll try here for now. I have been reading about how one should consecrate their deck before using it and that this involves using a wand. Well I was just wondering, how does one go about consecrating a wand itself?

Everyone has their own way of making a deck their own. Sometimes simply going through the entire deck slowly is enough.
With wands, it depends on if you use them for anything else. This is an item from the Craft (Wicca, or one of the many other traditions) and isn't really necessary to use with/on a deck, but if you want to, then use it. You can buy a wand (New Age stores usually carry them) or make one yourself. Consecrating that depends on how you want to do it--it can be anything from passing it through smoke from a smudging stick to laying it in moonlight & calling energy into it, to dipping the tip into salt, water, over a lit candle, etc. Each person is unique, their form of consecrating can vary all over the board. Use what feels best for you.

Thank you, this is just what I was looking for, I have my own Yew wand and would like to use my own method of consecration. Thanks again!
And thanks for putting me in the right forum.
