I heard from some people, that one should not put 2 decks or more together, in the same box or the same bag, sometimes maybe not even in teh same room
can someone please tell me the reason for that
and if I put 2 decks in teh same bag, what would be the consequence?

Not a darn thing, if the decks complement each other. If they 'disagree' with each other it can have an effect on their usefulness, IMHO.
I've had as many as a dozen decks tumbling around in a backpack at one time and none of them have ever shown any resistance to being near the others.

So glad you said that cricket! I've got about 20 sat in a drawer together!

Most of my decks live together in my wardrobe. - quite happily.
But the one time I dont like them together is when I'm using them. The deck I am currently using has to be separate from the others. By that, I mean that I have it next to my bed. I just couldn't put another one on top of it? I dont know why!!

I have two decks that have their own bags and one that has a beautiful wooden box... the rest are in their original boxes, but the all live in the same drawer together... and my two favorites frequently travel together in the same tote... and all is good.. so I think they must all complement each other :D
for a humble total of 7 decks ( so far)

I have decks together,
a deck in my purse
decks in cupboards
a deck under my bed
decks locked in a chest etc.
Mine are all fine together or alone.lol

Now that's a grand reason to get a mansion with many many rooms:)!
But more seriously. I do not know under what circumstances mention was made not to have two decks in the same bag or box (or even room (!?!)). It may simply have been to develop a care and reverence for the deck which you are using.
I would suggest that many here on Aeclectic, myself included, have numerous decks which reside in the same box. At times, even in the same bag.
Part of the suggestion may have been, then, more as a development of your own awakening towards the sacred than any 'needs' of the deck...

My decks are in various places. Most are in bags or their boxes among the papers and other mess in my desk. :) The one I use most is in a bag in a basket with a latch that my mother gave me which I also keep my spread cloth in. Another is in a chest type tin that my mother also gave me. It has little stars all over it. :) If you want to keep them in a special place, make it something that is special to you. As far as them being together, I throw 2 or 3 in that basket together when I'm going somewhere. I haven't heard any complaints so far. :P

There's something about that word "should" that makes me wince a little.
Sometimes recently when I have a few different decks out to use or study, I stack them right on top of each other on a table, usually criss-crossing each other so they're easy to separate. I haven't had any of them explode, catch on fire, smite me, or any other adverse Tarot behavior. They still give me the same quality readings as ever. I do try to take good care of them, but nothing out of the ordinary. I'd rather have them available when I want them than stuck away somewhere "safe".
Not even in the same room? I'd run out of rooms fast!

This is another Tarot superstition and needs dealing with like all the others: do whatever feels right to you.
The very fact that we all do such different things, and many of us keep all our decks together quite happily, shows that you don't need to follow this rule.
Although, as Nevada has pointed out, if you like this superstition and want to go with it, you'll need an awful lot of rooms :D

Not only do my decks prefer huddling together in the same drawer for warmth: when I do bring my 'favorite' out for a reading, it often demands company . . . lately, nearly all my readings feature more than one deck!
--Perhaps this is due to the fact that I refuse to turn my thermostat up above 48 degrees . . . untucked & stripped down, those decks are just plain COLD . . .

Oh, my God all the RWS decks and their clones just kicked the hell out of my Thoth decks! It is the big Golden Dawn split all over again. My oracle decks are just sitting it the corner laughing.
Seriously, I feel their is nohing wrong in storing them all together. All 100 plus decks live happily in my two, 102 year old china cabinets.

Well, I suppose living firmly by the rule that you can only have one deck to a room is one way to keep tarotholicism under control. It might be kind of fun to decide which deck belongs in the kitchen and which in the dining room...

If I had to keep one deck per room I'd have to live in a hotel!

Shapeshifter: My advice to you is the following:
"Don't mix up superstition with Tarot".
Do what you want with your Tarot cards. Keep them in boxes, drawers, bags. Stack them on your bookshelf. Scatter them around your house. Put them under your bed. Keep them together or apart depending on what is more practical for you. don't put them in the fridge though - far too humid.
The same goes for black cats and ladders. No, they will not bring you bad luck.
