ATTENTION, PLEASE...
Solty Dog is a DAD!!!
On December 1, at 8:19 pm (PST), Valerie Ellen Solt came into this World (weighing 7lbs, 14 oz., and 21 1/2" long).
Mom is doing well, resting comfortably after the long labor (12 hours!), while Dad--our own Solty Dog--begins the new adventure of fatherhood...
:)
Solty is starting his little girl off right, like any good, self-respecting tarotphile parent--with her own tarot deck, of course!
:D
But how about us, her tarot god/ess parents?
To honor the arrival of our newly-born tarot kindred, let us each impart upon her our tarot wisdom.
Share your lessons from the cards, advice from your own Fool's Journey, or lay a card at the baby's cradle with a blessing upon it.
Let's all welcome little Valerie Ellen onto the Royal Road with insight she can carry for a lifetime...
What is your tarot wisdom for the very young?

For the Solty Pup...
My advice:
Trust your intuition.
That is the best thing tarot has taught me; before I learned about tarot, I didn't even know I had an intuition...
The card I offer is The Wheel of Fortune, with a blessing of good fortune in all her ventures.

Congrats Solty!
I bequeath to Valerie the Ace of Wands, so that she may be blessed with ambition, creativity, and passion--three very important things. My "wisdom" to impart is to always be yourself...and when you read, make each reading your own. God bless :)

The Lady of the Harvest has offered to protect and guide Valerie as she grows, helping her to use her natural gifts to help others, and ensuring that "as ye sow, so shall ye reap".
My advice to Valerie is "Listen to your parents!" - if I'd done this, I'd have been spared several sharp knocks; parents have been through the same things (really! lol) and can give you guidance based on their own experience.
Congratulations to Solty Dog and his family; may you all be blessed with happiness and good health.

My advice to Valerie Ellen is:
Don't be afraid to immerse yourself in Tarot: no matter how inexperienced or young you may be, you've alot of wisdom to offer.
And I lay at Valerie's cradle from the top of my deck, and the from the bottom of the deck...
"May your life be filled with bounteous things, love, and creativity. May all your endeavours be fruitful."
"May you be your own guide and learn to listen to your intuition. May your true self shine through.
Congratulations Solty Dog and New Mum, and Welcome to the World, Valerie Ellen!

The crowd around the cradle becomes silent as all eyes fall upon the sleeping child.
A unanimous awe and quiet envelopes the entire gathering.
They are all captivated by this tiny being, so pure and fragile in her slumber.
The guardians remain peacefully entranced, as if they have become united in prayer.
Yes, to celebrate a child is to pray...

Thank you all so much.
When this thread runs it course, I am going to print these out and put them in her baby book. I want her to see these when she can read and understand. And hopefully when she gets even older she can understand and read.
Brightest Blessings to you all

Hi Solty Dog,
I must add that something struck me when I drew both the High Priestess and Empress together. I haven't seen that in a reading for over a year now, so it seems quite significant...
I think little Valerie is going to grow up to be a wonderful woman with many gifts and talents to share with the world. :D
