Hi, I want to purchase Tarot of Prague, but I do not want to pay $45.00 for it like on tarot garden (their prices are inflated). Any ideas?
I just have this rule, I will not spend over 20.00 for a deck unless it is oop.

Try Baba Prague's website. I got my copy from them, I'm sure the deck and book set was very reasonably priced, as was the shipping and handling charge.

You might try going to the artists'/publishers' website. www.tarotofprague.com. They sell both the deck/book set and the deck alone. I don't know if the deck alone is under $20, if so then you may have to forget about buying this deck unless you can find it used or want to try trading for it.

Tarot garden has the deck (only, without the book) available for $28 US. Dave

Thanks Sulis and Lee, I really like this deck even more after visiting the web site. All I want is the deck, skip the book.

Thanks dadsnook, I might buy it off the web site as they will sign the cards.

I bought one set from Tarotgarden and one from the artist's website and they were the same price. It may even be more from the artist's website due to currency issues. I got the one from Tarotgarden quicker because It is in the US.
I don't think you will be able to get this deck for under $20. It is a self published, limited edition and the packaging is more than just a cardboard box, both of these things add to the cost of this deck. It comes packaged in a book cover I guess is a good way to describe it. It will never wear out. It is like having a hard cover around your deck.
For what it's worth, I think it is well worth the price. You really don't need the book, if you don't want to spend that much. I know Baba-Prague recently posted that they are quickly running out of the deck only. If you wait much longer, there might only be the deck book set available.
I actually bought 3 decks myself. One was a gift and the other 2 are for me. I loved this deck so much I wanted an extra one for when the first one wears out.

The book is really wonderful -- not only for the invaluable information it provides about the imagery and symbolism of this particular deck, but for its rich material about tarot in general. I don't like many of the books that come with decks, but this is an exceptional work and adds a great deal to my appreciation and understanding of the cards.

I just received my deck from Tarot Garden. (Great service as usual!) I paid $45 for deck and book and it was sent to me media mail; shipping was under $4. My deck was signed and numbered.
Beautiful deck and book set. Well worth the price!
