The tarotholism is spreading...

Lookit what I made today.... http://www.villagephotos.com/viewpubimage.asp?id_=7099555 I cut the sleeve off one of my favourite shirts (that doesn't fit anymore and I'm too chicken to give away). I also hacked up another plain old blue shirt for the lining (can you tell I have no fabric around?). Now, why would I need a tarot bag? I already have a bag for the deck coming in the mail....unless...*gasp* Yeah that's right. I'm becoming so obsessive-compulsive that I plan to buy another deck in the city when I go to pick up my boyfriend on Saturday. Which one? One never knows, but probably the Fey. So if I'm lucky, I'll have 2 decks soon (hope to god I can find a bookstore there that sells them).

Dead Star: Your bag looks beautiful! Canna tell 'tis a cast-off sleeve at all. What about the other sleeve?

MeeWah - Not sure about the other sleeve, haha. I liked the idea of using the sleeve, because the seams on the sides and the end were already there, and the top one would look very nice for the top of the bag. It worked out nicely because it was a 3/4 length, and when I cut it off it's just the right length for a cap sleeve if i sew a new seam on the shirt. So I could actually still have the shirt! But I don't know what to do with the other sleeve :D I'd hate to have two bags that are the same. Unless of course...someone else wants one, sometime. Moonbow - Never you mind. I'll be frivilous all I want! And as for clothes, I am such a packrat. And when I finally do throw out or give away my clothes, I always end up keeping my favourites even if I'll never wear them again. I can't believe I got up the courage to cut that shirt up, tarot obviously has my mind warped! LadyMedusa - I really want the Fey. I might not be able to find it though, I think I'm going to ask my boyfriend to get it for me before he leaves (he lives in a bigger city) and I'll pay him back :D

The pic won't load for me ... :( Wish i could see it too! Isn't cutting up clothes fun? I've sent my mother into conniption fits with scissors and new clothes back from the time I was, like, 12 on. Still do it too, sometimes.

WolfSpirit - I'm glad you think it's a good bag for the Fey Tarot! I had that in mind, and it's nice that someone else thinks that, because I'm getting it :D I called a bookstore in the city this morning and they have it and they're putting it on hold for me. So I pick it up Saturday :)
