Using Tarot in spells

When I cast a spell...I always do a tarot reading to close the spell to see what kind of affects the spell will have. I would like to see how the rest of you use your tarot cards while casting a spell?

I use tarot in spells, too. But not the way you would think. The Tarot deck I like to use is The Tarot of Gemstones and Crystals because I use minerals in my spells. I use the cards more for the minerals pictured on each one than for the tarot card. The way I go about it is I first choose the three best minerals for my spell. I like to choose three because I feel that that is a strong number. I then draw the cards that have those minerals and line them up. Then I read the cards to see what connection there may be between my spell of three stones and the cards that those three stones are on. I sometimes get some very interesting results, and other times, the results are completely bizarre, no relation that I can see at all. Truly, though, I use this deck more for spells and use my Shakespearian Tarot for doing readings. Blessed be, BlueManticore

I use stones in my spells too...I especially like making charms.

All this before I cast the spell. ;) Yes I remember you saying that you also have a leo sun/ scorpio moon...and ironically...that is the same reason why I do a tarot reading at the end of my spells...Im to impatient to wait to see how the spell will affect me....lol
