For my 100th post, I was hoping not to be this obvious. But since I feel I have come so far so fast, I wanted to celebrate (which is not easy for a subtle being as myself).
I have been around tarot for as long as I can remember, but the nice people on these boards have been instrumental on furthering my education and confidence. Not only have I learned about tarot, the oracles and spirituality, but I have learned soooo much about myself. The readings I have been able to do not only have furthered my confidence in actually doing readings, but have helped my confidence in my writing skills, which I am hoping brings me to new levels.
Thanks to all of you who have touched my life, whether it be through direct correspondence or just by reading your wisdom. I never thought that I could grow so much in my mid-forties as I have, but I have learned that it is a lifetime achievement as a seeker that helps you grow.
Thanks in particular to SongDeva who started our local Tarot Circle here in Central Mass - her spirituality and intelligence is unequalled in my mind. Also, thanks to my brother of nine years senior for making spirituality, intelligence AND tarot an important part of my life.
Oops, sounds like I won an award, hehe. But it goes deeper than that - I have discovered my life through these boards :) Hey, life CAN be good after all.

Dan, congrats on the 100th! Goes fast, doesn't it? You know, I need to get some kind of Tarot circle going here in NY. It would be nice to do.
Look forward to your next 1000, Dan!

Hi contrascarpe96,
welcome to the club of living with a misspelled name- not only did I accidentally end up with galadrial as my forum name, but once I had I realized I had been misspelling it all along (and after having read the books 3 times, too!). So I empathize with the decision to live with one's imperfections:-) I've been enjoying you're posts especially, might I biasedly add, the ones on the Phantas. study group. I discovered this forum just after turning 42, and now 43 is coming up- it is amazing how much there is to learn, how much room there is to stretch and grow at this time of life. I've learned a tremendous amount from this forum in just one year, and agree that it helps with writing (not to mention typing) skills, as well. I'm looking forward to your next hundred posts- and beyond. Blessings, galadrial

Congratulations Dan!
I think that if you want to you can still be growing in your mid-eighties - and beyond. I'll check up with you in forty years and make sure to ask ;-)

100 posts! Goodness me. Good for you, Dan!
Actually, I believe I may be almost there. Or even there already. *scratches head in contemplation* Well, I suppose we shall see!

Well thank *you*! I feel like I *have* won an award. LOL
Unfortunately this means I'll have to stop talking around you, so as to preserve the illusion.
Your brother is a pretty neat guy, as are you, and it's I that am honored to have made your acquaintance. You may not realize it yet, but you have much to teach.

Thanks to all for your kind words.
The internet has proved to be an invaluable tool for so many things (and a detriment to others), and Tarot is no exception. The ability to learn and share with others is a wonderful thing. My first online experiences with Tarot came several years back when newsgroups were in their infancy. Unfortunately, the anonymity of the internet made that group a non-pleasant environment. The members here are a great group and everyone is friendly and eager to help others learn.
Thanks again to all.
