I like the Hercule Poirot series on A&E with David Suchet as Poirot. I had not watched any of the show for a long time and last November I started to get into the Thoth deck. Around Christmas I got a boxed set of Poirot DVDs and recently started to watch them. Imagine my surprise at the opening sequence, which I had always thought was very Art Deco, but that was all.
If you get the chance watch the opening sequence. It is full of those triangle things like wings that are all over the Thoth Swords. I believe they stand for intellect. If that wasn't enough at one point they also cover his face with a transparent downward pointing triangle, which can represents that which can plunge into the very heart of things. And lastly, they show him walking by two giant cards with swords on them! And then at the end of the opening sequence the swords with the decorative handle forms a part of his face. If you know the Thoth it jumps out at you, if you don't it looks very stylized. Interesting and very clever.

Marion: That is intriguing! I love the series, but do not have access to A & E but have occasionally caught it on PBS.
Have not seen the opening sequence as the episodes are usually underway when I do catch them but shall try to remember the next time to pay attention.
