Fate or Coincidence

Hope you don't mind if I post this here. I can't find anywhere that's appropriate. anyway, what do you think of this, is this Fate or just Coincidence I'm wondering which it could be. After a very on/off liaison with a man I decided last week never to fall for his charms and meet up with him if he can't admit to me or himself that we have a relationship. I was mad with him for presuming I can't get over him so I told him I'd met up with an ex boyfriend and we were getting back together. anyway, this ex, was over years ago (early 90's) and I've not seen him to talk to since 1998. This week I passed him on the road on Tuesday at 3.30pm and today at the very same place in the road at 12.20pm??? I can't believe I've seen him twice. (especially now when he's been very much on my mind lately) I've been on my way to school to pick up my child, he's (presumably) been on his way home from work. another thing, the other man .. in my daydreaming.. i was imaging we had this baby, it was a girl and we called her Phoebe. just one of those silly things you do on a dark rainy day when you're sad and alone. Anyway, a neighbour who I've never mentioned anything to, has just had a baby and she's called her Phoebe!!!! Unusual name, it was name of my ex-husbands grandmother and its also the name of the girls grandmother. I'm beginning to wonder whether there is any meaning in any of this or not. What do you think?

I've been told that I have a psychic ability of some sorts although I don't really see it myself. Sometimes people can tell you that to flatter you, but saying that there have been so many of these "coincidences" lately, as if I know whats going to happen next, that its getting spooky!. I'm very good at "knowing" who's on the phone when it rings and who's at the front door (although I wonder if I subconsciously know what their knock sounds like). I think for the time being I'll just leave it be and see what happens.

Keep on listening to those free-flowing thoughts. You spoke spontaniously about your ex- that was a tap on those intuitive messages. All those quick fleeting thoughts are the ones to try and capture- you will get better.... simular things happend with me- like looking at the building where I work and 'saying' ~needs a paint job~ and then coming to work the next day and it's painted. somethings may seem insignificant- but it's there for practice as well as reassurance :)

I agree, it's your intuiton developing. Actually, the same thing happened to me yesterday! Early in the afternoon I started thinking about my cousin Sarah, whom I haven't seen in years (and I NEVER think about her). I started thinking about the last thing I heard about her, that she was pregnant and was wondering how far along she was, because I didn't have a clue. Later last night my uncle called and my mom walked into my room and told me, "Sarah had her baby this afternoon at 1 o'clock." Which is right around the time I started thinking about her and the baby. Needless to say, I was surprised :D

I've had things happen just like Dead Star. I remember one time, on a Sunday afternoon here, I suddenly thought of Victor Borge and how funny and talented the fellow is. A day and a half later, I read he is dead -- died in his sleep at approximately the same time I thought of him. Yep. The "how" and "why"s are worth thinking about.

its happened to me a couple times on and off, like when the phone rings i know who it is already (no, not from caller id LOL), or that i get the feeling SOMEONE's going to call... another thing that happened to me the other day was when i was walking to the gym at my school and suddenly i started thinking about my two friends who were getting in trouble and the guy who was trying to get them in trouble...and suddenly he comes up from behind me, running to the gym! i was suprised.... i think i posted this somewhere else, but i can't remember. my memory is HORRIBLE! rebecca

As a whole- I see the numbers/cards saying to take a step back. You have the Lovers card as yours, you are one that loves with ease. You find personal plesure in caring and loving others. I know from my own experience that even sucha wonderful attribute can sometimes lead to disaster and heartbreak. This is your year of mixing things up- taking what you have so far and putting it all together and producing something new. you just-passed-partner. He is on a path of his own, he may have company long the way, but it is only he who knows what he is really searching for. This is his year when things will take a turn. How he handles this change, that is up to him. He could forever be in the dark. your love-of-long-ago, He has a personality that stands tall and strong. I can see why someone would be drawn to such a person. The Year card is death, a change for him as well. Things of his past are now past, and before him are new possibilities. I wonder about taking these two men and comparing them- as well as remembering the good and bad of both relationships. just want to share... my daughter was in the hospital and my 16 yr old sister-in-law visited with her boyfriend...they were having an underground relationship because her parents thought she was too young to have a bf...it happened that i joked them that her father was to visit that day too (although we really had no idea) and it happened, her father really came to visit... ...the power of intuition!!! :smoker:

Katie, you've written about something that is near and dear to me. Synchronicity, morphic resonance, coincidence - call it what you will. Personally, I believe that it is possible that you've seen your ex many times before without being conscious of it. Only this time, you brought him to your conscious and you saw him. Does that make sense? The signs are always there but we don't always look for them. And sometimes, we have the power to manifest things. Want to hear a funny story? A few years ago, I was on my way to the Doctor's for a pap smear. As I was driving in my car, I thought to myself, hey, I wonder how medical students learn this process. Like do they practice on dummies, or what? I walked into my Doctor's surgery room and low and behold, there was a medical student. The Doctor introduced me and asked if it would be alright for the student to watch the process. Did I manifest the student, or did I just tap into the psychological wave of the Universe? Hi Purple, Perhaps in the course of your conscious mind thinking about the doctor's, your subconscious mind tuned in on the actual place and picked up on a medical student being there (through some process like remote viewing). That is why medical students came to mind in the first place. What do you think? Sam

Hi Sam. Yeah, I think you're right. It wouldn't be the first time that had happened. More recently I was singing in the shower an old Bee Gees song (and not very well, I might add) that I hadn't heard in years. When I got out of the bathroom, I turned the tv onto an Aussie music program (Rage) and went to tidy my bedroom. Knock me down with a feather......that song came on about ten minutes later. Unbeknown to me, it had been re-released by a girlie band. I was in fits of rapture, laughing, crying, laughing again. It's times like that that you know that you are tuned into the Universe's energy. Cheers purple_scorp
