What would you be able to let go of (or trade), if you knew someone had something you wanted?
(Anything books, cards, crystals, as what is talked about on Aeclectic Tarot.)
I have books & cards I'm sure to get rid of at some time & then I say no I better keep them.

I'd let go of my Medieval Scapini tarot and my Gipsy Tarot Tsigane, as they're just not quite me :)

I'd let go of my Victoria Regina. I like the art, but I can't read with it.

I'd let go of quite of a few of my tarot books and tarot decks, if I could arrange face-to-face trading or same-city trading. I'm not much a fan of packaging things for the post.

I let go of the Fairy Ring Oracle, Medieval Scapini, Celtic Tarot (LoS) and the Magical Golden Dawn and in place got 4 decks I love.

I'd let go of most of mine for the right thing. I have a Celtic Dragon which I took an immediate dislike to and I paid more for it than anything else I have got. There are only a handful of my decks which I definately wouldn't part with.

I would let go of one of the books I have. I just don't like the size of it and I don't find it as useful as I thought it would be.

I also have a few decks that I would like to trade since they don't click with me. The problem is that most of them are the German editions and I guess it would be hard to find somebody to trade with.

Hmmm....
I use every deck I own, except a Marseille brought to me from the Netherlands.
Granted, I have only nine decks (both tarots and oracles), but that's all I want right now.
I pruned my tarots, oracles and related books back in December, and now I'm learning to enjoy what I already have.
So, I truly have nothing to part with!
Fortunately, there's not a whole lot I want that bad, either....I have a very short wish list of books, and only one or two tarots I'm even considering.
However....
I'm allowing myself one tarot deck/set, book or CD every other month, depending on my budget (a CD being less $$ than a tarot set, for example), so I am sure to accumulate some extraneous (albeit quality) decks again....
My tune is bound to change, anyway, 'cuz Kat and Lee's decks are coming out soon (souvenirs are must-haves when you know the celebrities! :D )

If someone likes something I have, like a necklace, armchain, crystal, I have a tendancy to just give it to them. I don't have enough decks to just give away though. That's just me. I like giving things away. It makes me fell warm and fuzzy, and I don't get to feel that much.

At the moment, I have nothing that I would trade. I did have a few decks that I really didn't want and knew I'd never use, so I gave them up to good homes. I'm very picky about the decks that I buy now so I don't anticipate having any that will need to be traded.

I have a real problem with letting go lol - which is why I don't trade. In my collection I have a few decks that I know I'll never use but these decks interested me enough to buy them so I hang on to them either because they are different or not traditional or just for the artwork. :)

I think that with decks you have used (and other objects perhaps but they aren't my thing) you are letting some of the essence of yourself go - I would need to be sure where it was going.
Similarly I would never use a 'used' deck - unless it was mine or from my mother - it doesn't feel right.

There is only one thing that comes readily to mind -- my Thoth deck. Haven't read with it for well over a year nor do I have the desire to. Lost the positive connection and have enough books on it to act as study references.
So away it would go!
