Do you think that if you meditate it makes your Tarot readings better?
I don't know how I feel about this mediation issue. I feel you can meditate many different ways. It doesn't have to be all that complexed & deep in thought as people make it out to be.
Also if you don't practice meditation regularly don't you just do it anyway?
I feel reading Tarot is a form of meditation also because it takes your mind to a different place than where it's at.
Thanks for any replys.

I don't need to meditate before I read, but I always do, even if just for 30 seconds. It helps me clear my mind for a reading.

I believe meditation, or prayer, are extremely helpful in any intuitive work one wishes to do.
Science shows us that when we pray, or meditate, we increase the alpha wave patterns in our brain.
I'm of the belief that we may just be increasing our alpha waves again when we sit down to read - that nice "in the zone" feeling you get when you're really reading well, and everything flows. I wish someone would hook up a Tarot reader and find out.
So, to me, if you can put yourself in that peacable frame of mind by regular prayer or meditation, then even before you start the reading, you're already two steps ahead of the game.
