Should I do it?

Hi all, I was wondering something. Without pretending to be medium or anything, do you think i could do a reading to connect with my grandfather (whom I never knew since he died when my dad was just an infant)? I use the Ancestral Path and all this theory about our ancestors helping us on our own path is growing in me. I realize that a part of my grandfather is alive in me, biologically at least, so could i set my intuition free via a tarot reading to connect with this part of myself ... ??? I was thinking of a reading like: what he wants to tell me, how he can help me, what i need to develop in his opinion or things like that. He is a very important person to me, I admire him more than I can say for the choices he made in his life. I can take any comment at all: mockings, warnings, supports etc. Blessings Kissa

(I have yet to read what others have replied, so this is just based on what I feel alone, sometimes, I think when reading what others reply first, in my case, my original opinion and feeling of about it gets transformed in a way. Sometimes it's good, and sometimes it's bad, usually good though...so on with what i feel)... I think connecting with a loved one who has passed by the ways of tarot is a brilliant idea, and I fully support it. I wouldn't be worried about something else coming through, this isn't at all like a quija board (sorry if I spelled that wrong). I've used cards for clients in that context, allowing the message of their loved ones who have passed speak through the cards and allow me to send on the message. I've had experiences in the past where people have "come through" b/c of doing a reading. Sometimes doing a reading while provide all what the other on the other side needs to come through. Your directives and motivations are very direct and centered, I don't think you'll have a problem contacting and speaking with your grandfather this way! hope this has helped, wish you the best of light to come through your reading between you and your loved one!

Man, Ive never done a spread ro contact spirits. I'll have to give it a shot after i become more familiar with tarot. Let us know how it went.
