Streams

A friend on AT was intrigued by use of the words streams in a reading. When using the CC, I see the lines (of the 4x4) as being streams of a story. In other words, each card links to the next in a stream, from begining to end. Do other people use this word? Is there a more appropriate word to use?

Sounds like you're just talking about a plot or storyline. Personally, I think that's the best way to do a reading, but it doesn't always work that way for me if I'm coming up with other messages outside of the cards. Anyway, it's great if a complete story comes to you with all the cards this way. Also, I use certain decks for story-boarding writing projects along these same lines. :)

Makes sense to me, as I find that the Celtic Cross can be summarized or broken down into one sentence.

Exactly! There is a start, there is a wider position, the thoughts, the end. In short a stream I find that each line can be read as an individual story. However, they also cross over into each other. Sometimes though there are other streams, that cross the lines. I see it as a line, sometime diagonal. Just not always easy to see streams that do not stay in one line.

Streams. I can almost hear the water bubbling over the stones. It is always the same water but it is not the same. Beautiful way of putting it. I think SongDeva should send you that certificate.

Thank-you for officially approving of my use of the word stream. Where to send it? Hmm, well I'd love to live in Massauchitts (did I spell it right), so a good excuse to pick up the certificate in person, and scout for jobs as an accoutant. I just see the energy like a stream, a flow if you like.
