In Bunning's course there's exercise 6.2 where she encourages to find a personal symbol of tarot practice.
What is your symbol and where do you keep it? How did you find it?
I'm not totally sure what the symbol means.

Hi Aure,
this is a fun bit of reminiscing for me, as I started out with one deck, the Hudes, and Joan's online course. Many decks and books later, I still am fond of remembering that tarot symbol exercise. I was keeping the deck in the box it came in and decided my symbol would be a decorative box for the deck. I live in a very rural area where there aren't any stores that would likely have what I was looking for, so I went to Thrift shops and the Swap Meet, and Lo!, I found a nice wooden box lined in blue velvet that fit the deck like it was made for it. I think Joan was right, that Fool type spirit of adventure that is so helpful in embarking on learning the Tarot was heightened by The Quest. It also physically engaged me in a meaningful way; the decorative box felt so "mine" by right of having gone in search of it, and thus, in part, tarot itself became "mine", as in "I practice tarot" instead of "well I got this deck and this book, but I'm not sure..." Hope that helps. Also, Joan is a very engaging person and if you email her I'm sure she would be happy to elaborate on her thinking behind the exercise.
