I was browsing the bookstore yesterday and my sights fell on this year's Witches' Almanac. New to witchcraft and such, just learning up right now, I picked it up and began to thumb through. I looked at the calender for this month: April. Lo and Behold, I see that on the box for April 25th (tomorrow, btw) is written: "Seek Tarot Insight" or something of that nature. What makes 4-25 a good day for tarot, at least the way the cycle falls this year? I am anxious to see what that is all about.

Interesting. I don't know much about witchcraft, so my guess is an ignorant one. But... perhaps it is related to the moon or something along those lines?
I'm intrigued by this one too. Anyone shed any light?

April 25 doesn't coordinate with any pagan holiday, and it's not on a lunar phase either--I wonder if they put that in just because it was an open day & figured doing a tarot reading would be nice?

I also don't have any reference to a Pagan holiday or any particular moon phase either for 25 April that I have come across.
However I did find in my Celtic Spirit book (Caitlin Matthews) that 25 April is:
"Helping Others" - it talks about helping and supporting others - being sensitive to signs (whether obvious or distinct) that may come in our direction. "Is there something you need to ask help with at this time? If so, is there someone you know whom you would like to have help you?"
You could perhaps associate this in an abstract way, with a stretch, to Tarot.

PS. In Australia / New Zealand - 25th April is ANZAC Day.
