What tarot decks used to be on your wish list for a considerable length of time, but ended up being removed from the wish list and never being acquired?
[hence the value of wish lists]

I wanted the Hanson-Roberts when I started - so many people here recommended it for learning. The more I looked at the cards online, though, the less I felt it was for me.
And now, I could happily do without it. If I saw it for €5 in a bargain bin, I'd have to think whether I wanted it or a slice of chicken pie and a glass of milk more.

Lots of them. I used to have a wishlist a mile long.
But some of those I really really wanted and that I wouldn't buy today are:
New vision tarot and the Sacred circle
I just don't find them interesting any more. I know I would never really use them, just look through them a few times and then put them in the bottom of the basket.

I wanted the Via Tarot until I started reading some reviews. :(
I wanted the Gilded Tarot limited edition until I actually went to the order page and saw the price. Now I want the commercial edition. :)
Tarot of the Mermaids has drifted on and off my list but I have had it right in my hand a couple of times now and not purchased it.

I wanted the Hello Tarot for years. It's just so cute! I have realized, though, that I just have too much stuff in my life. Hello Tarot would charm me for a short while, then would gather dust on a shelf. I can enjoy the images online -- I don't have to buy it.

I had a thing about the Robin Wood tarot for quite some time. I can remember viewing some of the cards in a bookstore, and feeling a bond. Then... a year later, I see the same deck, and it just does nothing for me.
Maybe I will find it attractive again at some point later in my life. I had this happen to me with an ex once. Haha.

Definitely the LOTR falls into this category. I think the Haindle does as well, but it remains to be seen whether I break down one of these days and get it.
Some decks I hesitated buying have turned out to be good reading decks for me, even though I continue to doubt whether I like them or not. Some I love but can't read with ...... yet.
I guess that's the beauty of owning alot of decks. I can always find one that will reach out to me.

I just found this list yesterday as I was cleaning up my desk...
It's an old wish list and I crossed out~
Medicine Woman
Sacred Path
Shining Tribe
Ancient Egyptian by Barret
Mitetti
Visual I Ching
Tarot of Transformation~ might still get this......
And a bunch of Doreen Virtue decks
Funny how I totally forgot about this list and I don't have much of a desire for any of the decks I wrote on it any more.

I remember at one time I wanted the Glastonbury Tarot very badly, but then I forgot about it. Now when I look at the images online, and although I still like them, I do not feel this urge anymore.
Same goes for Morgan Greer, Waking the Wild Sprit, Golden Tarot, Tarot of the Timeless Truth and some LS tarot decks such as Tarot of imagination, Druids, Bruegel and others.
I may still aquire some of these decks and probably others as well but maybe not anytime soon, as I am having a lot of fun 'playing' with the ones I already have.

In the past, I got several decks that were on my wish list and then traded them away. Of the decks I haven't got, I think the Quest Tarot would be at the top of the list. I really wanted this deck when we first started talking about it here, but I didn't get it because I had just bought so many. Time past, and now I only have a small interest in it. I think if I could play with it for a couple of hours I'd be happy, but I don't want to own it.
Daughters of the Moon is currently on my wish list, but it is very close to falling off.

Les Chats d'Evelyn Nicod, due to its rather exorbitant price.
Except that now I'm on a tarot binge, I'm starting to think I may as well get it...

Waking the Wild Spirit --- still think it looks like a beautiful, colourful, imaginative deck.........but am now avoiding decks that incorporate a whole new system and this seems like one of these.
