Repeating cards

Hi all :D. In the readings ive done/had done on me ive noticed that certain cards repeat themselves quite consistently. Five of cups (reversed) being a pretty good recent example. Does repeating cards signify anything or just add emphasis if you see what i mean.

And they will often keep re-appearing until you do get the "message" that they are bringing. CreativeFire

Oh yea... I have cards show up over and over until I either get the message finally or the thing happens. I got the Tower like every day for a week almost once LOL Then an unexpected option that caused drastic changes revealed itself and I was like "Oooooohh... okay!"

A card will keep coming up until the situation that it is trying to tell you to change has or to let you know that things are still going well. If it keeps coming up try to study the card and learn what it is trying to tell you.

I kept getting the Chariot each day when I did my 3 card spread before leaving for work. Each day something would go wrong with my car. Lights on the dash flashing etc. It started to cost a fortune to repair even though it wasn't a very old car. I traded and got a new one no more Chariot card. I wish I had paid more attention it would of cost me less. Dexter

Yes. Pay attention to the card, the meaning usually makes itself very clear. I was recently stalked by the 9 of Swords LOL till I did what was told. Am currently being followed by the King of pentacles - where or where is he?

A repeating card asks for the attention. It may occur prior to a major event--such as The Tower or other Major Arcana. I usually note if it corresponds to any of the personal cards first. Seems The Chariot appears in personal throws (daily & spreads) if there are car issues brewing. Also on the rare occasion we end up acquiring a "new" car. The last time it showed up it meant we were getting a car, albeit second-hand. That was also just prior to when the car we had began dying, so it was wonderfully synchronistic!
