Reading for myself I like the early mornings 7:00-9:00 a.m.
Reading for others any time after 10:00 a.m. Then I have time to get my thoughts together & settled in the day without rushing.

I think the time thing is different for everyone.

ANYTIME is a good time! But for me, personally, it's very early in the morning before anybody else is up and the day is just starting. That way it's nice and quiet and peaceful, and my mind is still sort of dreamy. If that makes sense! But later in the day works OK, too.

Nigh anytime I am not otherwise engaged.
Have done readings in the wee hours to accomodate a client's work schedule or for urgent need.

I think doing a reading is a bit like anything else - if it is needed, you do it when you need it or when your querent needs it. If there is no real "need" and you are just doing a casual inquiry for yourself (if there every really is such a thing ;) ) then, of course, you'd do your reading when ever it was most comfortable for you.
As my favorite comedian says, "that's just my opinion, I could be wrong" :D

For me the best time to do a reading for myself is when there is some "quiet" time (day or night), so that I can focus on the cards and not on everything else. This is probably because I find it that little bit harder to read for myself than for someone else.
When I read for others, it can be just about anytime as long as I am not feeling tired or stressed as that seems to block me sometimes.
No doubt this would be a personal thing for everyone depending on their life schedules and reading requests. Basically only you can tell when it is the "right" time. ;)

Like others, I read for myself when I'm relaxed and calm. Mostly in the evening, I suppose. And for others I read whenever, that really depends on my mood at the time and what kind of day I'm having. And, yes, there are times when I feel comletely blocked, but I don't think thats got anything to do with the time of day.

Anytime I'm alert and calm is good for me; it doesn't otherwise seem to matter.

Time of day is not an issue. Just when I feel quiet and am not being disturbed by anything.
I do often read in the morning or evening though, less often during the day or late at night.

I agree with most - that the time of day isn't important but the mood is - i need peace and quiet and inner calm. There will be days when i cannot do a reading - i won't attempt it if the conditions aren't right - it isn't fair to the client.

I try to pull my card for the day in the morning. But I find my best readings are done in early evening while I am going through the process of closing down my brain. I find it still has enough energy left to do a reading, plus I have the experiences of the day to help keep the neurons humming.

Hello!
I will pull a daily card first thing in the morning. Any other reading is pretty much whenever during the rest of the day. But looking back, majority of the reading I have done have been evening and onwards.
