Every morning I do a 3 card spread for the aspects to consider in that particular day, the last week, unfortunately my father died, since then my daily spreads had shown lots of Major Arcana Tower, Devil, Fool, Star, Emperor mainly.
I am very aware of all the coming changes in my life, so the Tower seemed SO obvious, that made think Tarot is trying to tell me something more.
Abundance of major arcana these days (they do not appear very often) can be interpreted as my current over sensitiveness to everything so all my emotions and reactions seem exaggerated?.
Have you ever experienced something like this? all comments are appreciated.

I am sorry to hear that your father has passed on - I hope you will feel better soon.
It pays to remember that most of the time the major arcana are not as earth shattering as they seem. Most of our lives are not that dramatic and though the Tower can refer to something as drastic as the 9/11 attacks , it is not likely that we as individuals would feel an impact like that most of the time. The Wheel of Fortune might only bring you 10.00 and not 10 million, for example.
I would just make a note of positive things you find in the readings and try to not be anxious about the appearance of a lot of majors. It is a time of stress for you full of change, but don't expect disaster or focus on it . Focus on taking care of yourself instead.

flavio, my condolances to you and your family on the loss of your father.
a couple of years ago, after a very bad time, i had a similar problem. it seemed as if only the worse cards were turning up, and although i knew they probably didn't mean anything as extreme as the previous week had been, they felt ominous.
i found it helped to change decks and not use the same one that i had used during the worst of times. while i still pulled some of the same cards, the new images helped to bring a fresh perspective.

My condolences too...I think the appearance of many major arcana indicate many important/primary issues/changes,which isn't suprising considering what you have gone through...

My condolences.
I honestly believe that the abundance of Major Arcana cards is a reflection of how you are feeling right now, and the changes as well as emotions that are going on in your life.
My advice would be, put down the tarot for a week or so, and just give yourself some honest time to heal. Doing spiritual work while in an emotional state and during hard times will most definitely create blocks. I know it will take a lot longer then just a week or two to overcome the death of your father, but this at least gives your spirit some time to say Good bye and reorganize the things you need to in order to move on from here. Give yourself some mourning time and then pick it back up in a week or two. Just my advice.
Peace be with you sweet spirit.

I'm sorry about your father.
Death is not the end, but a transition point. The Tarot is acknowledging this major transition by showing major cards.
There's no easy way to say this, but, you have suffered a great and painful loss. When a loved one leaves us our life changes forever. The pain will pass, you will continue to grow, and he will always live in your heart - but it will take time to heal and grow "whole" again. I think that is what you are seeing in your cards.
I agree with Zorya, put this deck aside for awhile and try a different deck. Let the fresh images help you heal.

((((((Flavio)))))) My sympathy on the loss of your father to ye & your family.
Considering the loss of your father & the subsequent change in family dynamics & to your life, ye are not at all being overly sensitive but experiencing the newness, the rawness of change.
The cards tend to mirror the life events of both the major & minor influences. On the occasion of any changes, be they drastic, traumatic or otherwise in the life, the cards will express such changes. Since there is a period of adjustment & healing that follows change, the appearance of Majors of themselves not necessarily cause for alarm but indicative of the impact visited upon ye on the various levels of the life.
In time, ye will again see a majority of minor arcana as things settle down & the equilibrium resumes.
In the meantime, perhaps limit the Tarotwork to give the self time & space to adjust.

Sorry about your loss.
The best advice I think is to give the cards a break or change decks. I wish I would have had that knowledge before when I have had problems, I never thought of them.
All majors... I tell people that the events are out of your control so roll with the punches.
Best of luck to you in the future.

Thank you very much to you all for your kind comments, changed of deck from Hanson Roberts to RW, but majors still appeared!,
noticed the Emperor has appeared 3 times this week, realized I have not taken enough time to meditate about the loss of my father and the cards were screaming at me about it all these days!
So, no more cards for me ( just a couple of days) I will relax and think during the weekend.
Thanks again and best regards
