I've been reading the "Readings" forum recently, and I've found that I just can't connect. When I read, be it "live" or online, my cards "know" how to convey a certain message that I can understand. I just don't get that from other people's readings. Has this ever happened to you? Ever feel that your own cards are talking only to you and that other people's cards (whatever deck) just don't speak your language?

Yes, I think that is how it's supposed to be. We tune into our own cards, some decks portray different images, so I guess it would be a little different. Some people use a little bit of intuition and gives extra insights.
Sometimes when I read another persons readings, I think, "wow, how did they come up with that"
I've actually found doing daily card draws have made me understand the meanings of my cards. If it works for you, then that's the main thing.

Seems like most of the time that the meanings from most of the decks are similar enough that I can usually relate to the readings one way or another. The best part of different decks is the many little twists that add layers of meaning, I am trying to be a sponge and just incorporate them all into my interpretations. Don't know if that is the wrong or right approach, not sure if I care as long as it makes me a better reader.
Now for answering the question that begins this post, Yes. I may not always 'get it' to begin with, but time always prove the cards got it right for me.
