I'm just in an "off" mood and cannot connect with the cards at all. I know others have gone through the same. What did you do? It's been months since I've used my cards regularly.
It's not just cards either, haven't been motivated to read much, do needlepoint, etc. Just feeling so blah....
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

maybe you could try this:
pick one of your cards, without looking at what it is, try to 'sense' what it is. this can sharpen your sense towards your cards.
also, this can help your connection with your cards...
hope this helps!....:)

I suggest going to art museums and galleries, walking in the park or the woods, and playing with children. That should recharge your creative batteries! :)

Try to go to bed early and get up early, and go for a walk in the morning. I find the morning air and sunrise help lift my energy levels :)

Breathe.
I mean it. :D
Sit and breathe. A lot. Breathe from your belly, nice and soft. Take a long time to exhale. We run around "holding our breaths" a lot in life. A good sigh feels... good!
Pay attention to your breathing at various points in your day - at the stop light, at your desk, while reading a book. By drawing your attention to it, it will help you practice mindful breathing, and this really helps recharge your insides.
In Hindu terms, it draws prana, or life energy, into your body, thus recharging your own inner power reserves. It's free! It's easy! It isn't even aerobic!!
:D BREATHING~! :D

It sounds like it is more than just not connecting to the cards. Do you have any health issues? Are you working too hard? Is it time for a vacation? I hope you don't mind me asking.

Hi Woof,
I can definitely relate! Have been there for a few weeks now myself. Decided to just put the cards down and not worry about it for now, drawing a daily reading only whenever I feel especially inspired.
Nature (and gardening) helps me get back into the creative zone. This could be a walk or just sitting and watching. Other helpers are: good sleep, quiet time with loved ones (including cats!), generally just taking a break from all the usual stuff.
Breaking routine is what helps add spark when I feel caught out of creative cycle.
Hope some of our suggestions help! :)
Sending bright thoughts your way.
ps. does this have anything to do with your dog, Shep?

Woof, to bring in info from another thread, I know you're under a lot of stress right now with Shep. Under stress, we have trouble connecting with anything, not just the cards. Put them away for a day or two and just concentrate on doing things that will nurture you. When you're ready, you'll feel your cards calling to you again.
Best,
Kim
