the devil /journey of lucifer

(we have discussed that the devil can't journy for he is stagnant and too attached ,but what if he could ?) one day lucifer was standing there complaining about his job, ohh when will these mortals understand the purpose of my job, i am so frustrated. he went to the lord and ask him for a reprieve and said , "creator i am lost in this job , i can no longer see my way." the lord said "ah ", he knew that the insanity of ego had clouded lucifer thinking and he was tired. he said "very well let us see what will happen if the ego has no one to direct it " lucifer looked around , that isn't what he asked, but he said "very well " on so the devil left from his home in hell and went to the next path , and it was of the tower and said. " look my lord the towers are not falling, we are building a fine home, why didnt' we do this at the beginning ?" the lord looked and just at that moment an earthquake stuck and every building falled like it was paper, and lucifer was appalled and said , "what happend lordy ?" and she said "you see dear lucifer without testing the tower was built on shoddy foundation and so at the first challeng the whole building falled " well that is just one case lucifer said. and then they went to the next town where all the towers were destroyed. and he said "what happend here ?" "here they were so intent on truth that they didn't focus on rebuilding and destroyed themselves for without you to temper their growth by showing where to direct it , they went to the extremes " the devil look around and said nothing and said let us explore the next path , certain that was just the one path. and so they went to the star and saw people failing at the first chance they had. and he said why are they failing ? they can see the star shining bright as possible. and the lord they said yes my son,, but look they havne't earn the hope, it is a false hope for they don't believe. and to the next star , where no one saw the star , even though it shone brightly . my lord , why do not see your hopeful star ? and it said "you see good lucifer without darkness what is the use of star to guide them ? and he huffed and said " your testing me " and lord said "no , i am just showing you the truth " "some truth", the devil said ," your version" not convinced. and so they came to the moon, and here they saw everyone not on the middle path , even though the bad wolf ate ate , and the good dog begged to be petted so much it drove them nuts. and the good devil said "what is this madness ?" and the voice said " without the known dangers of the wolves or the overgrowth of the tamed dog, there was no known path for them to walk, and it is so for they had no testing " to which the devil said "bah " and they came to the sun, and saw people burning, and he said "lord i know it is not your will for your people to burn why are they burning " and he said "without ego to guide them from growing to fast they went into the light unprepared and suffered greatly " and they saw people staying indoors loving the darkness so much they were pale and withery. and the devil said, i suppose these people don't see the light ? and the lord said no , they see the light ,, but dont' care for they have no desire, no ambition and so they see things not on the higher level " hmph the devil said " these are extremes and not the norm " "oh yes this is the norm,, the new norm without your guidance " the source said and they came to the judgement card and saw everyone dancing and no one sleeping, and the devil rejoice, "yes they are all awakening and so the end result is better then i could of thought " said the devil. and the lord said , "yes but what are they awakening to, you will see soon " and the world card, was awesome for it was a world totally changed, or so he thought,, and he looked at the destruction over here and the total growth by the elements upon the globe and said. "lordy there is no one on the planet but it is still here, is the school over, which is what i want " "no my devil, it is empthy but not over , you shall see " said the lord, and then came to the fool where everyone was dropping , to the material world and i mean everyone, and the devil said "what for do they come back ?" and the lordy said " they learnt nothing, not even who they are , nor their weakness, they are the true failings of the fool and not the archtype. " and the magican was so dark , the devil couldn't believe his eyes, "why is he so dark , i figure he would be so full of light " asked the devil mouth open. and the lord said " it is because without someone to guide the ego , it overcame him and became the antichrist, he who has totaly lost their connection to me " and the devil had tears in his eyes but turn as to not show the creator his true feelings the high priestress temple was empty , and desroyed. and this he expected now for without him to tell him to question everything for it is all lies, they believe everything was lies and refused to listen. " my lord they have lost their connection to the holy mother and their innerselfs , wow " and hit the wall, surely this can't go on " more shadows to come yet , the lord said, the emperor was very insane, and so parnoid that no one listen to each other and they were all waring so much that no one was left unscarred. and the devil said "i caused this ?" and the lord said no,, the pure logic caused this,, for without fear to temper it, they went too far and forgot their emotions and thus became robots but they had to prove who had the greatest intellect, amazing isn't it, to prove it by winning at all costs " and then they forgot to visit the emperess ,and the lord said , "there wasn't emperess , the whole land was destroyed for preservation of self wasn't activated so they ate everything and knocked down everything and starved to death " then the heirophant came , and he was terrible to behold for his was the way of the true inquistion . the devil said " he is like the dark magican unleashed " "he teaches that nothing exists, that you are all worthless for i dont exist to even love of the tear that fall, and the devil said there are people like that in who teach that , why is this one differnt , " and the lord look so intently at his son that his son put his head down and falled to his knees. "he doesnt' do it out of fear, or anger, or hatred, but he means it with all his being, for where is the betterment of man by testing ? this is worse for he dooesnt' mean to try to get people to think his way , but he destroyes their faith, their very hearts, " and the devil falled down , for the devil knew that heiorphant through life experiences can end at the devil home. "the lovers were there looking normal " and the devil said unbelievaling they look normal , i half expected these two to be fighting each other to the death for they loved each other " "look closely my dear devil" god said and he looked at their eyes and they were so inhuman it was impossible to believe. and he saw the cold hard truth, without their ego to show them needs and desires, they were unable to develop the basis of love so they sat there unknowing like two pieces of stone who saw each other but were unable to know what they were looking at. and then the chariot came into view , was he beaten, was he victorious, no , he just sat there doing noting and the devil went over and slap his head but the chariot just sat there , and the god said "that one can't hear you , he has no ambition to do anything, to change the world to live, to even breathe, " and the devil said "this is getting a bit much " god said " is it " and they came to the strength card, and the lion was taming the woman to do her will. and god said " see the lion didnt eat her, nor was there was lion but the lion controls the woman so much for there is no strenght and the lion just plays with her every day , all moments " and the devil looked into his sleeves and saw they were wet from his tears. to the hermit they came, and boy was that hard to see, it wasnt' anything they ever seen before, they were are all on the mountaintop , no , there was a skelton on top ? no , the hermit was all partying and telling jokes and he said, it is simple the hermit has no reason to be perfect or go to the mountain top " to which the devil eyes closed and said show me no more. and then they came to the wheel of fortune which had stopped spinning, it didnt go all up or all down just refused to spin, "no lucy , they didnt go to heaven or hell, they just refused to live, they didn't die , how can the wheel spin when the chariot refused to do anything, the lovers can't love, the emperor can't reasons, the hierophant cant' teach, the emperess got no land to look after , the high priestress got no secrts to look at for there is nothing she wants to know, the world can't be cultivated for there is no world to guide, the judgement people can't fully awaken for they see what they want to see, the sun burns to much, the moon can't guide in the darkness, the star gives no hope for they have no hope to give, the tower either falls completly or not all , and where is the master of hell ? here i am good lord , you will see what happens to the rest. the hanged man just hanges there with his eyes closed, the justice got no scales , and he looked and the justice had her blind fold off and no scales and didnt try to wieght people worth just did what she wanted without karma. the hanged man did hanged down for not other reason but to do so but with the eyes close defeating the purpose , what didn't he feel sacfrice at least, ? yes with scarity flowing so much in the world , he gave of his all , for insanity had over taken him, at least the christ had a purpose but the hanged man had no purpose doing what he saw was martying over and over and over. and so the death came, and the death neither took all or none, but was tranfromed into the giver of life, and more life and more life, and said "devil , you have betrayed me , without growth , there was nothing to cut, and so what you see is me giving life , is just repating the same actions for there is no more growth , and no reduction " and temperance, was sitting there no longer trying to temper or even holding her cups, but instead was looking at the horizon, and the lord said "she looks for you and can't find you for without something to temper with , all the elemens in affintiy can mix without any bad results . " and then the master appeared, you see dear brother, you who guide the ego, the awakening will come when the incarnations need the ego no longer and it can not be taken from them or they fall out of purpose and use before the mortals are ready. you are need and loved, by us masters for when it is over you shall take your place as the ultiame master, lucifer tester of man and mover of the universe. with you the fools falls with a purpose , the magican creates with a purpose, the high priestress wishes to seek her knowledge, the emperess wishes to see the land grow , for there is a land to grow. the emperor seeks to strive his mind to ultimate potential but with the ego telling him not to far not to wide for there are things to consider further. the hierophants teaches if only to overcome the tests of this life to better themselves. the lovers see each other for they have the desires and choice to love, the chariot will strive once more and walk the world, the strenght card , she will no longer be victam to her instincts and her strenght but will control it and understand her kundalini, the hermit card will seek himself once more if only to understand himself. and yes the wheel of fortune will spin agian for there will be events to spin them, the hanged man will open his eyes in order to understand, the justice will be blind again to what it wants and seeks to balance things out on its merits. the death will once again help people to grow, and the temperance will agian balance itself. . and befoe you ask, yes , the tower will fall naturally , the star will bring hope for the people will need it, the moon will again guide those in the darkness to reach the day, and the sun will not burn those, and the judgement will help people awaken, the world will change to understand the universed, and yes the devil will be overcome again and again, and one day will no longer be need. and the devil said as he walked up to his throne , with hope in his eyes, "to no longer be need, "with gleam of tears in his eyes, look down at the dope opium guy and poked him with fork "smoke that thing you bastared for you need it, and you crave it , and you must have it , no one will love you as much as i will " and the person , by the tests, and lesson he had learned so far , will say to the devil " i have learned of myself , of death of balance and one day i will no longer need you , and i will lift this chain from my head, once i get the strenght " and the lucifer glowed bright red, nodded with a dazed space look in his eyes remembering his own lesson and look at the mortal and poke him again "yes until you no longer need me, your mine. "

Holmes...this is a wonderful story. It reminds me of what would happen if we didnt have a dark side to us.

i had it in my head a while , but yes i made it up in one sitting, that is why it is so unedited :O)

HOLMES I really love this, and there is a sense of humour sneaking around in there too. I often think that the Devil has a great sense of humour....wicked, but great....thanks for sharing :)

Great story and lesson, congratulations! The Devil card is quite interesting and we (at least as beginners) misunderstood it, this post enriched my vision on this cards, thank you very much.

Holmes...have you thought possibly about turning this short story into a novel? Each time the devil makes his journey to a new card can be a different chapter. Just a thought :)
