i have seen the cards attribute the fool to a person who has been relatively untouched by occult influences. this person is less concerned with spirituality and more concerned with the daily running of their lives. they are being led blind by their heart. one could get hit by a car, or win the lottery, they wouldnt have a clue
just faithfully leaping into the unknown. this is the fool upright. they learn at the pace of the events around them, and by personal revelation climbing the ladder that eventually leads to god. so, then reversed fool is the tarot card readers journey.
the fool represents faith, and as all christians know, true faith is an impregnable sheild. the fool is a wild card, so it trumps anything. reversed, it trumps anything. it doesent have a number, so really, it doesent belong in trionfi. take away the fool, and what you have is the world trumped by the magician.
what are everyones thoughts on this?
