I just bought my first deck of Tarot. Mirror of the Soul. This one was extremly appealing to me, but while I was looking I found the Faries Oracle, and I felt very connected with it. Is it possible that both of them could be calling me? And also, what is the main differnce between Tarot and Oracle?

The problem, you'll find, is that LOTS of decks call to you! Your wallet will be bone dry soon, I'm sure. Once you're here and you catch the tarot bug, there's just no hope! :D
The main difference between oracle decks and tarot decks is the # of cards. Tarot has 78 cards, all others are oracles (very few exceptions).

I like the Faeries' Oracle by Froud and MacBeth. It is entertaining and helpful. It is not a Tarot deck but an oracle deck.--Tao

In this contextm Oracle is a generic term. An Oracle can have any number of cards, any kind of organization (number of suits, or even the presence of suit at all, etc..).
Tarot is more rigid, and is generally considerer as being a set of 78 cards, with four suits of 13 cards each plus 22 Majors arcanas. But ... what if a Tarot deck were published with completly different divinatorial meaning than the classic ones :-) ? Would it be still considered a Tarot ?

If you are speaking of the Gerd Ziglar "Tarot, Mirror of the Soul," I feel it is the nicest--I mean 'sweet, kind, friendly, supportive' interpretation of the Thoth deck that I've read so far. A very friendly book and I've found it an interesting balance with other books about the Thoth.
I think Ziglar's book does treat the Crowley Thoth as an oracular reflection in a daily way and it's quite nice if you want to treat your tarot that way.
Oh, and yes, go ahead and use this book and maybe check online Thoth scans to see if the deck reflects what you like...maybe buy the Thoth in a small format?
It sounds like the Faery Oracle is also calling you...which would you like to get first? Maybe the Oracle is more your style right now?
Have fun with whatever works for you...
Regards,
Cerulean Mari
P.S. Do you need Thoth sites to reference the cards?
