hello everyone! it has come upon me to write a personal grimoire.
it will never see publication, ever. but it will be a personal mission of mine from now on, on aeclectic, to collect as many celtic cross variations as possible. i just love them! i dont know what i could possibly give in return for a good cross, but all is negotiable. so, please break out your old lwbs, and send the crosses to me, so i can complete a proper grimoire. i am mainly searching for lwb crosses, as they are the most functional. but if you created or learned some crosses of your own, send them in too. i will greatly appreciate any and all crosses. even if they came from an lwb, and still seem absurd. thanks

Someone a while back posted a CC spread like this.
Do the first reading with say RW. Take a different deck other than the RW and lay ontop of the first reading. Then take a third deck that is different than the first two and lay on top of the reading.
You would have 3 CC & 30 cards in one reading.
It was something like this, but this would work. You could read it as past, present and future.
I sometimes do small cross readings with two or three of the same deck just to see if I get repeats. So you could also do a past, present and future, 3 CC spreads with the same style deck, just layer the reading.
Something like that & something to think about.

thankyou cerulean! that is a good take on a classic! i like his notes as well. he kinda fills the blanks in the positions where waite left alot of guesswork. good decision to provide a link for less experienced readers, so that they can enjoy reading with this
quite tedious, but beautifull original cross. do you have any other
lwb crosses you would like to share with me for posterity? anyone?

Here's the one from the New Palladini LWB (I've never used it myself). I thought the description of position 8 somewhat unique, but maybe I haven't seen as many of these as you have!
---------------------10
----------3----------9
----6---1/2---4------8
----------5----------7
1) Present
2) Immediate Influence (crossing) - nature of upcoming influence or obstacles
3) Goal or Destiny - best that can be accomplished is existing circumstances
4) Distant Past - basis
5) Recent Past - passed or passing
6) Future Influence - influence coming in the near future
7) The Questioner - present position or attitude
8) Environmental Factors - thequestioner's influence on others
9) Inner Emotions - Hopes or Fears
10) Final Result - most likely culmination

Similar meanings, as well...
Here are a few others:
Super Tarot with elemental dignities/Kabbalah
and link to another Golden Dawn spread:

Great suggestion...never thought I'd see so many variations.
Regards,
Cerulean

This is a 21 Celtic Cross. Read the cards as you will for the Celtic Cross but you have 3 cards for the now and the obstacle. The rest have 2 cards to read.
#20 is a timing card
#21 is an advise card
