hi all, i have't been here in a long time....i'm having trouble remembering/finding a website that i'm pretty sure that i learned about here in these forums......

it's one of those ask an expert, become an expert, question and answer (free service) website where you can ask any expert anything with in thier particular feild whether it be cooking, plumbing.....anything under the sun....i found some really good astrology and tarot experts there (elspecially good astrology) and it was a good place for me to get anonymous practice reading tarot......when you do readings for people after they got their reading they would rate it. I'm almost certain that i learned of the place here in these forums so hopefully someone else remembers it as well?
thanks for you help!

Well, it used to be AnswerPoint at ask.com - and it was a very good place for questions. I used to do both computer and psychic areas there, for about two years. Unfortunately, they decided it was taking more time and money than it was worth, and it was discontinued about three years ago. Ah, well.

I think there may still be a couple of sites that were spinoffs when AnswerPoint died - I haven't checked lately, but try www.answerpool.com, and do a search on MSN for a related forum. No guess as to the quality of the answers, but these were people who really loved the original site and wanted to keep it going.

thanks astra for your input! that sounds like the one........i think the last time i visited was in 2002......so disappointing that its gone! it looks like answerpool is down too =( i tried changing .com to .net and .org........nothing..... i really like the idea of complete anonymity of the site.......but of course how known am i here and maybe i should just give it a shot here in the reading exchange area....i could at least be under the wing of more seasoned readers with feedback, tips and help.

So, give it a try - there's as much anonymity here as you want, but I have to admit it's more fun when people let a bit of themselves slip out in their posts.

I missed one other site, which had it's heyday about the same time and is also down now - that was exp.com, where you could not only answer questions, but could set a rate for doing it, if you thought people might be willing to pay. The name is still there, but it's a placeholder only.

I think you might want to try Kasamba.com. I know they have something like what you are looking for as well.

Edited to add: I just realized that Kasamba.com is not free. Sorry about that.

I know of two sites like this - www.allexperts.com and www.askbar.com. Hopefully one of these is what you're looking for :)
