Has anyone had one of those moments, when they are new to reading the cards and all of a sudden, a lightbulb comes on and you realise what the cards have been trying to tell you.
I kept getting the Empress in my readings, and the Princess of Swords. I have been reading these cards as the Empress, a nuturing, motherly card, (possible pregnancy) and getting scared I may get pregnant!!!, and the Princess of Swords, thinking it would be a child/teenager with some sort of message.
In my quest to learn as much as I can about the meanings of the cards, I make use of those generated card reading web sites, so I can read the explanations and get a broader understanding of the cards.
Some things have happened in my personal life, which has quite devastated me, one of them being, I got too involved with another family (a motherless family) of two teenage children, but because of whatever feelings they have (I don't know) the 15yr old boy has been going around telling lies about me and now we are all estranged, never speaking to one another again. (I was in a relationship with their Dad).
Anyway the point of this is, I did the cards again, these cards came up and LO!! I realised what they've been trying to tell me. It was like a good smack in the face, and saying WAKE UP STUPID!!!
I was being too motherly where it wasn't wanted, and somewhere I read about the Princess of Swords being representative of a spiteful teenager!. and all of a sudden the cards made sense.
(and no! I'm not pregnant!!) lol.
Has anyone else had an awaking like this, and suddenly realised what the cards are saying?

Hi Katie -
The Princess (Page) of Swords can also mean rumor-mongering , gossip , backbiting , lies and deception ...which also fits right in with what you describe ....

did you by any chance find the four of swords or the magician reversed in those readings? both can stress what you are describing.

the magician would definitely be appropriate advice on any issue where diplomacy is concerned, king of cups mode! its like realizeing what is happening at just the right time, and fixing it while there is still something to fix!
