Geminis and significator cards

This is kind of odd and I was kind of wondering if anyone else notices this. I know a lot of Geminis...mostly men, and I noticed that when I do readings for them, two significator cards always come up. Usually its the King of Swords and the King of Wands. Could this be because of the duality or the gemini?

I'm a "Taurus-Gemini cusp" m'self. By some traditions a King of Pentacles, by others a King of Swords. (Or technically a Thoth Knight of swords.) FWIW, I identify more readily with the latter! But there are so many different conventions... })

I idly note that Gemini (air) is bordered by...Earth and Water i.e. NO fire signs! OTOH, perhaps the alternative Wands/Swords as being Air/Fire is experimentally correct? :D

Doubtless introducing confusion...

Those who know me will tell you I'm about as dual natured as one person can be, without actually having been diagnosed with multiple personalities.

That said, I find that while most times the Queen of Swords is my sig, every so often Wands fits better. It is very influenced by which side of my nature is in the dominant stage at the time. BTW I do see Swords as air, though with some decks I can with some difficulty make the switch.

Funny that you bring this up, dating a few Gemini's in my time, I have ALWAYS found them to be represented by the King of Swords, it never fails.. hmm wonder where the connection lies?

Ok...there are 2 gemini males in my life at the moment, one of them is always represented by both the king of swords and the king of pentacles...and now that Im thinking about it...he is born on the gemini/taurus cusp....now that explains a lot! the other man is always represented by the king of swords and the king of wands....that I cant explain as well since he is not on a fire cusp..he is on the gemini/cancer cusp.

I'm always represented as the 3 of Disks/Pentacles in my Deck. It makes my head boggle, because I never draw any other other pentacle cards.

When Mari asked me what my significator card was, I told her I have been told I am like the Queen of Wands/Queen of Swords and Queen of Cups in the descriptions here on AT. (I asked several friends which described me)

She promptly drew the 3 of Spheres (Or 3 of Disks) as my significator card.
