'A posteriori' insights on readings

:smoker:

For many times I've been experiencing 'a posteriori' insights on recently done readings.
Usually, it happens when I am driving home, in the shower, or exercising outdoors - basically when my mind is relaxed and free-flowing.
Its interesting to notice though, how these flashes carry a sense of accuracy, and mainly certainty, at least to myself.
I barely have clear insights like these during the actual readings.
It seems that something has to sink-in, just to return later by symbolic association with something that crosses your conscious mind.

I'd like to hear other's comments on this.

this happens to me sometimes when i leave a reading and come back to it later. i'm sure there have been cognitive studies done on these 'aha!' moments. i recall a study that tried to correllate other skills w/the ability to 'aha' as it were. wasn't iq - it was the ability to make sense of fuzzy pictures. ppl who could do this were more likely to have those 'aha' moments.

I have those, too, but it bothers me when I can't go back to the querent to share the new insight. I just have to tell myself that what I got at the reading was what the querent was meant to know and that the further insight must just be for my own edification.

I once seen a video of David Carridine about Tai Chi. He told that you should imagine yourself under a waterfall to cleanse away energy that has attached itself to you during the day. Well...
when I shower if I imagine I'm under a waterfall (& sometimes just the shower) that is when I get the flashes of insight.
I've read on here, that other people when they are in the shower have insight flashes also.

It must have something to do when our mind is still our intuition will be presented to us in a flash.

I experience similar such occasions where information pertinent to a reading occurs during the odd moments afterwards, oft during certain activities--housework or yardwork; taking a shower; reading a book. That is one reason why I prefer to let a reading "sit" for a day or more before concluding it though some seem to take longer.

A general reading for one stranger turned into a complex marathon over a three-day period wherein information came on & off. I discarded a third spread as superfluous because the reading felt "finished". Only to discover a few hours later that the cards of the third spread came to mind & struck as health-related. After I sent the lengthy reading to the client, he expressed surprise at the unexpected "bonus" of the health information (which was accurate). Though the health was an on-going concern, it had not occurred to him to think of it in relation to the general reading.

This happens to me so much, and so often, that I have made it a habit to take down the phone number of those I've read for, just in case. I mention to folks, "I sometimes continue to get information even after the reading has ended, or a point will continue to clarify for me, and if necessary, I'd like to call you if anything else comes through." It's necessary for my sanity, I really mean that.

I've had many times in the past when I've had those wonderful moments, just like you describe Aun (in the shower a lot for me too, or while knitting or drawing) and I suddenly become crystal clear on the point Spirit was trying to make. Or I'll be considering the cards, and the reading in general, not really concentrating and I'll get a *zinger* with more information attached.

And then... if I get something for my sitter and I can't tell them... it just plays... and plays... and plays.... in my head. It's freakin maddening.

It's like psychic PTSD, and I can't get Spirit to leave me alone (can't get the message to stop replaying) until I get the message to the right person. So I *have* to get their number! Or else....

I really like those moments though, when they do happen. They have a different feel than what I experience in-the-moment during a reading. I find them very rewarding, on a personal level.
