Just wondering if people ask their clients when they were born.
I do sometimes but some people do not like to tell because they think it's a secret, they do not want you to know because it may effect the reading. lol

and she asked me my date of birth. She did an astrology reading too and referred to elements in the tarot reading to do with me being a Taurus.
generally though, I hate giving my date of birth in case people go, "wow, you're how old?" lol

I do.
I like to use astrological attributions in order to help identifying the 'already-hard-to-interpret' court cards for instance.
Others might disagree with that, but I personally need a starting point to help defining some parameters on a reading.

I love numerology, I've been learning about how to do the calculations in a numerology reading, and how to interprit them. I've found it helpful in my own tarot readings to look at my year card, and I sometimes use it as a significator. I've had some intresting results from using really basic numerology within tarot readings, the year card especially is a useful way of getting an overview of what is going on for the person at the moment.
I'm experimenting with different ways of reading at the moment. Not sure were it will take me, but the journey is fun :D
