--->How do you rate yourself as a tarot reader? 10 is the most and 1 is the least.
--->Me I rate myself 5 because I know I need more knowledge about tarot reading. There is a lot more things to explore about tarot reading.

Based on what I hear from those that do offer me feedback, I'm probably around 7 or 8. But then, the ones that don't offer feedback are probably the ones who think I scored a 2, so I take it with a grain of salt. ;)

I have been on the mark with several readings. Many have unfolded as the cards described. I have a select group of regular people who I do readings. With strangers that I never see again I do not know how things turned out. I would probably say an eight. --Tao

I would say about 5 without previous information, but if there is a chance to discuss situation previously and during the reading I can get as high as 7! :D
Anyway, I just hope never lose the drive to keep learning and practicing and score 9 at least as a regular basis...

I'm at least a 6 - could be as good as an 8 on good days.

To get past a six would be nice but sometimes I may have hit 8 AND scared myself!
That was round about when I realized the cards had the important aspect of not just divination/ seeing things with them/ but the possibility of looking for lessons, leeway and relationships between different aspects of our lives.
I do recall 2 studies that were done worldwide with a huge enough group of participants to make them worthwhile as
"scientific research":
The first was in 1980 and showed that people who had balanced left and right brain functions ie the practical and spiritual sides-
could most accurately guess or predict outcomes even when no
logic or background information was known to them and therefore this had nothing to do with education levels.
For instance they were asked everything from sports bets to election outcomes to news follow up eventualities.
The second was in the mid nineties where a group of tarotists
were asked to do daily readings of simple 3 card spreads then
journalize the matches to outcomes- as compared to people who kept day diaries of planned days and then recorded what had cropped up in contrast to surprize them.
After crunching the numbers the Tarotists came out 40-60 %
more accurate- and could we say? - less surprised!
I'm sorry I can't give references as I've just had a cleanout.
But the articles were both in international and then the Oz newspapers.

I'd say an average of 7 with Thoth/clones and RWS/clones.
When I use decks I'm not too familiar with, it may go down to 6 or 5.

Probably a 7 or 8. It does seem to vary from deck to deck and day to day, although I think it's been better since I've been working with Marseille. With Old English it tends to be pretty high, too.

When reading for others:
I used to be like an 8.
But these days it seems more like a 4, if I am kind to myself.
When reading for myself:
A strong 9.
I get the message, it is time to focus inward, to solve my own problems before even trying to mess with someone elses.
But I did a short, informal, 3-card reading this week and it went really wonderful, instant connection. So perhaps I just need to shift my own perceptions a bit. Create more oppertunities for light-hearted informal readings, a few cards "on the go" instead of appointments and settings and complex spreads.

Somedays I rate myself a 5, other days as high as 9, other days as low as 2. I think 7-8 is good - most of the time I am told how on target I am or how on the mark.
For myself I have to say 5 - I don't feel as on target and accurate.
