You know why? Because someone suggested that it'd help with approaching this guy I've been DYING to meet FOR NO LESS THAN TWO MONTHS! :( It's been that long. I've talked this topic to death not just with people who know me in person, but also with some of you in this forum! Yes! I STILL haven't approached him! I'm TOO chicken! But next week, things will be different...I'll be bringing all my 14 Lovers cards from all the tarot decks I own! Would this influence the results? Would it "mind-control" him or would it just serve to encourage me? Need your thoughts on this!

I think the fact that you have all of those Lovers cards on your person will remind and emphasise the situation, and hopefully set your mind in gear for approaching him. Good luck.

Maybe you could do a Tarot spell to help you gain confidence when approaching said guy? You could choose Strength, Ace of Wands, Queen of Wands, and other cards that signify courage and confidence to you.
I agree with Centaur as well: the Lovers cards will serve to get your mind in gear and help you focus.
Good luck!

I think that's a great idea. Also, Kittaine, do you have any crystals? Perhaps you should carry some rose-quartz with you?

Wait, wait. How do you do tarot spells? I'm sorry. :( I've never done those before. And I'll try looking for a rose-qualtz, if it helps. Anything for love! :D
Thanks, Kiama and Centaur, for your thoughts!

Gather the cards you want to use along with any herbs or stones that would make the spell stronger for you.
Light a candle (making a protective circle is optional) and take up one card at a time calling on it's power by telling the card why you have chosen it and what you hope it can help you with.
Example; I call upon the lovers to give me the courage and the open mind to meet the person of my desire, please aid me in my task.
You can ofcourse put the sentence in any way that feels good for you but remember to ASK the cards for help and not demand it.
Do the same with any crystals that you want to add, laying the crystal next to, or even better on the cards you've piled up.
When you have stated your purpouse with each card (and crystal) put them in an envelope or other container and sprinkle the herbs (if you have wanted to add any) over the cards with a similar incantation.
Then carry the container with you for as long as you need it and when replacing the cards in the deck again, thank them for the help they provided to clear them of the spell.
Wether you let the candle burn all the way down when putting the spell together (leaving the container by the candle while meditating or atleast focusing on the result you want) or decide to let it burn down later is also something you have to feel your way to.
Some say that the magic will only work if the candle is allowed to burn down when the spell is pronounced but others use a "spell-candle" that they thank for the aid before snuffing the wick on after the spell has been said.
Ofcourse you can also just add any cards you want to bring, state your purpouse with them, lay them in an envelope which you place under your pillow overnight and then take with you the next day.
Simple is no less effective than the whole circle/candle incantation as long as one asks for help with pure heart, good intentions and with no intent for harm..
(Been reading about this a while see... ;o) )

That's a real nice spell - plus, if you go to newmoon.uk.com, where they have a wonderful online BOS, you will find some "tarot love spells" - I've used them! Good luck, please let us know when this happens (I, for one, having read the cards on it, want to be PM'd)!!!!!! ;)

Dear Kittaine, if your 14 Lovers cards help you approach this guy, then do so...
I had sent an additional question via PM.

I would suggest reading any of a thousand cautionary tales on the danger of trying to magically spell someone into loving you. Any mystical system will tell you: you cannot make another feel what they can't.
What you can do is present the best YOU to that person so that they see what it is you have in spirit that makes you perfect to fall in love with; however, that person must do the falling.
Take your Lovers cards and let their energy build YOU up so that when you do talk to this model of sweet love that you built up will feel your wonderful energy.

I dusted off my "Tarot Spells" book by Janina Renee. they have some spells for attracting love in general or of a specific person in there too. It seems to require 13 red candles, so I won't PM it to you unless you decide you really want it.
Also, a friend once told me this spell: take a pink candle and scratch his name on the side. Light it for 20 mins everyday for 3 weeks. At the end of that time, if it doesn't work, he wasn't for you. Throw out the candle, and get another, scratch YOUR name in the side, and do the ritual again. I told a friend about it, her boyfriend and she were starting to drift apart. She did it, and a year later they were still together, despite everyone else being sure they would never make it!

Never, never, never use a spell with someone elses name in it unless you have the other person's permission, insted I would advise you to draw symbols that make you think of love.. hearts, stars, bells.. whatever :) or even write the word "LOVE" in the side... the candle spell above is nice but substitute the name for something else :) You can imbune the candle with rose oil or even buy premade "attraction" oils (IM me if you want a recipe for one Kittaine) ..

Good advice, MUCH more ethical. But she might try a spell to attract love to herself.

That's what she would be doing :) The pink (or red would work also) candle with love written, especially with attraction oil, would manifest that she is seeking love :) not any special person, but love in general..
Kittaine, you might also try a 'witches bottle' or a 'wish box' as well :)

Off topic - what do you thnik of her book? I used to own it and I sold it because I couldn't connect with her spells anymore. But I do like the idae of using the tarot to give you confidence.
I think bringing the cards really is a good idea by the way- if only that they serve as a mental tool. You really never know.
And trust me - sometimes it takes me months -nearly a year - to approach some guys. ;)
