Angeles Arrien offered the phrase "Bardo Card" in re Tarot
interpretations. I'm highly sceptical of its applicability, but
Mary Greer (a former student) finds them noteworthy.
Michele Jackson writes:
Some may find Arrien’s interpretations too positive. Even the negative "Bardo" cards are given positive twists by saying something like "in the near future you will deal succesfully with this issue." However, the general thrust of the interpretations can still be used without putting what some may find to be an overly positive spin on them.

As far as bardo states as a concept... very interesting.

To me, it read like a formula for success. It explains that by living the 27 positive states of the elements we don't allow the 13 negative states to exist. Great theory, but I'm skeptical too. How come this Arrien is the only one who seems to know about it?
