Has anyone noticed this thing?

Hello people, I was wondering if anyone has noticed this happening... I do about 2-3 readings per day after work. I have noticed that there will be some cards which will appear in all the readings for that day. Then for the next day, another set of cards appears for all the readings. These readings are all distinct, all for different people... Best wishes, mysticmoon

I'd guess that there is some common denominator between the different people that somehow shows itself this way. Not knowing who you do the readings for, is there some tie between them like friendship, family, workplace etc that could have them "effect" eachothers lives to some extent?

In a very particular sense, these cards could be addressing some very important aspect of an emminent situation of *yours*. The cards can speak in several layers of meanings, so maybe you could consider them from this perspective as well....

Yeah, this is what I am thinking too.. maybe in all these readings, there is a message for me... This trend had not stopped, it is continuing still... Are you clearing your cards between readings? This is important. If you don't it can affect the readings of others in that it gives them information meant for the one before. This has happened to me too(as a reader) and I have heard from clients who've told me they've been given readings that had nothing to do with the events/issues of thier lives at that moment. You can clear your cards by running a smoking sage stick over them, or by just re-shuffling really really well. I prefer the sage method myself-that way I know for sure my cards are cleared-they even feel "cleaner" somehow.

Hi celeste, I ground-and-centre before and after each reading, visualizing that the white light from the earth is cleansing me and the cards of all the negative energy that may have 'stuck' to us. Also, I shuffle a lot before doing the next reading. Maybe I should try the sage cleansing too. I need to find out where I can get hold of sage leaves. It shouldn't be very difficult... I learn a trick for clear the deck yesterday! using the position of the Magician card, put your deck on the right hand and your left hand under a faucet, let the water run for 10 seconds as you imagine the energy of previous readings moving from the deck to your left hand and going away with the water flow. Don`t forget to thank the water for cleaning the deck. :)

I've had this happen a lot, where one or two of the same cards will show up in readings for my husband and in readings for me, often using different decks, during a particular time period. I look at it as an influence that affects both of us over a period of time. It seems to go through cycles. Nevada

I once did five readings in an evening, including for two of my brothers. These two used to be mistaken for twins when they were younger, and they absolutely hated being compared to one another. I did a reading for brother #1, then for three of their friends, then finally for brother #2, who at the time was a complete skeptic. The cards had been shuffled many times by several different hands. In a 12-card spread, 10 of the 12 cards were identical for brother #1 & brother #2. Brother number 2 actually got out a calculator to determine the odds, figured it was something like 6 million to one that the same cards would come up, and had to admit there was something to this tarot stuff. And as much as he hated to admit it, he really was a lot like our other brother :-)
