A little story about Fate, tarot, trust and love...
About a year ago, I was starting to get heavier into my studies in school. I desided it would be wise to begin to learn techniques to help remember information better. So I went to a website called craigslist, which happens to be a great place to meet people. I desided to post a barter to fix computers or give goods for lessons or information on Speed reading and improving ones memory.
I get a responce soon after, and only one responce, from a lady named Christina. She very briefly tells me that she can teach me how to remember large lists and how to scan books and remember what they talk about, she also did not want anything in return. So I deside, okay, this sound cool, ill go ahead and respond to this and see where it leads me.
After talking to Christina and then to her boyfriend Chriss for a little while, they deside to have me over for dinner to talk about this memory stuff. We talk briefly about that stuff, (I didnt end up learning how to do any of that stuff after all, ha!) but we started talking about all kinds of other stuff, and I did end up helping them with thier computer.
A couple weeks later they call me up because they wanted to have me over for dinner again, so, of course, I say sure and go over there. While over there, we talk about many things, I meet Christina's daughter, whom is wonderful. As the night was drawing to a close, she asks me, "Would you like me to read your tarot cards?". I had never been into this kinda stuff before but was always curious, so I say sure.
The reading changed my entire life. Not only was it amazing to see it all in such detail, but it set the start to me thinking about the big picture.. Soon after I get my own deck and start learning on my own.
Quite a bit of time goes by, I would say something like 10 months or so, and I get a message from Chris over the computer saying something like "Hey man, hows it going? Give me a call some time, lets get together"
It had been a while since I had seen them so I was of course, more than happy to see them, we exchange numbers, and I give him a call. He was busy when i called and he said he would call back, but I had to wait 2 weeks for that call.
Then it happens. It was earlier today.. So many things were going wrong, and he needed my expertise on a computer issue.. something very serious.
It seems he was looking in Christinas e-mail (which was a normal thing) and he found this very troubling e-mail..
It seemed that not only would she be cheating on him, but she would be get money for sex.
He was completely heart broken, and he left in a hurry and was quite sure it was real and figured that would have been it, for good. It was my job to come and see if this e-mail was real or if it was forged. And of course, I was also worried because they were both friends of mine and I would hate to have anything happen to my favorite couple.
Before I got to the task of checking the e-mails themselves (I used to be kinda into computer forensics) we had a bite of dinner and I asked him the question,
"Does it feal like your head is telling you she did, and your heart is telling you that she didnt?"
And he said "Yes, that is exactly it".
From the begining of our conversation I felt like something definetly was not right...
If there is only one thing I have learned from the tarot, its that, trust your intuition, your heart, because it tells you the truth.
After spending hours studying the e-mails, I come to the conclution. Someone was out for revenge against poor Christina and while they did do a great job forgeing these e-mails he messed up a couple places, which lifted the burden off of chris' shoulders. In his situation, there would have been no way for him to know. I was even convinced the e-mails were real myself at first, but I had to follow that gut fealing, and dig deep to find thouse mistakes, and when I did, I knew that I had hit it right on.
After he composed himself again (he got quite excited and joyful to learn that it wasnt true, of course), we kept talking about what was going on in our lives, and I told him about the night I had dinner there and I got the reading. I told him how it changed my life, put me on a spiritual path and well.. just.. how so much of my recent life can be traced back through that one night. He was very happy to hear this as well.
So later this night, I get a call, it was Christina, she called to thank me, and deside to challenge me to a "read off" to see who was better.
She said that two days prior she bought a deck, and she did a single reading with it and knew that this wasnt "Her" deck. It belonged to a man. When she learned that I started reading cards from Chris (of course they got right back together), she knew this deck was ment for me. So she invited me to come over tommorrow night, so i could pick up "my" deck, and have dinner. :)
Its amazing for me to look at how so many things in this story had to be "just right" in order for this all to happen. I honestly think that if it wasnt for me getting involved and looking into it, they would have split up for good, and who knows from there....

Wow, that's pretty incredible...but did you ever learn to speed read? It seems like you never quite got around to that. I'm glad that you listened to your intuition and had the know how to persue it to find the truth.

steve,i found your story truly fascinating and enlightening.
could it be possible that these people were important to you in a past life and so it was important for you to connect with them again in your current one?
it strikes me that when a person decides to become spiritually awakened, ( however slow this process is), and allow their intuition to develop, the mind is alerted to messages which are all around us and we start to notice coincidences and synchronicities occurring with startling regularity. this is a lovely process and i think your story illustrates this well.
good luck with your continuing tarot journey!
which deck were you gifted, and did you "connect" with it where your friend could not? i'd love to know,
love and light, tink xx

Good job following your intuition, Steve! :D Listening to the voice inside takes faith and practice.
And I hope you love your new deck!!! (Which one is it, anyhow?)

What a facsinating story! Thanks for sharing! Sometimes things happen in our lives that at the time are awful, but in the totality of life actually are quite beneficial. No doubt your friend Chris was gutted when he called you over, but in the totality, it was all for the best.
Thanks again for sharing

Not sure what deck it is. As it is the majority of this story (looking at the e-mails and such) happend last night. So later tonight I am going to see her and find out what deck it is.
It was interesting though, because I always felt in debt to her for putting me on this spiritual path, so I do feal like I was ment to help her in this situation.
As far as past life stuff goes, I still havent got into that yet, although I am interested in it. Once I find someone who is knowledgable and reputable in this area, im sure I will explore it. But it seems these two, I just connected with them when I first met them, and im sure that last night, well, I set things back onto the right track.
