Just dropped in quickly to say hello! Also to ask a quick question.
It might seem like a stupid question but are the Tarot readings offered on Ebay legal?. Can anyone sell them?.
Okay I gotta run! Have two assignments to get done by Friday and am majorly behind!.

I assume they are legal. eBay seems pretty quick to pull illegal or even controversial stuff. I assume anyone can sell them. There are legitimate readers and I assume some who are not. How to tell, that's the question. At least one (maybe more, dunno)member here does it and she is a genuine reader.

I think Ebay might consider categorising these "offers of services" seperately? Or I may have to devise a better way of searching for interesting decks, while avoiding the pethora of these identical items? Hmmm... Fortunately there aren't many at the mo' - Or I may actually have to read the HELP files! })

As a matter of fact, (I'm the seller on eBay, or one of 'em!), there is another whole category called "Services". This is for services of any kind, & many of us on eBay do what's called cross-categorization. So you can find it in the Services section, or under Tarot - it gives it maximum exposure to do it that way.

Also, if you're trying to just find decks, put in to avoid "psychic reading". Those two words eliminated pretty much will just give you decks.

Yes, when I search I eliminate 'bag bags cloth cloths reading readings', and sometimes 'baseball'. :D
This is the Advanced Search function

Ah, I must work on my "searching". Thanks for the hints too. :)

I tried to see what that was about it seems to be who bids the highest only gets one reading. I haven't found any good decks on Ebay for bidding.

And, of course, if you have a specific deck in mind, you can search for that name.
Include a search for some common misspellings, too, if you've seen a particular typo often enough. People don't always do a perfect job of proofreading when they list an auction.

I can't answer for the laws outside the US, but I know that some US tates have particular requirements.
For example, to avoid running afoul of the anti-fortune-telling laws in Pennsylvania, you have to explicitly state that your readings are for entertainment only, and that a person must be 18 years of age or older to receive a reading.
Anyone who's listing readings on eBay or other online sites would probably be covering their bases pretty well to attach both of those statements to their listing. Ditto for anyone who's putting up a printed advertisement offering card readings.
