I would like to know if anyone has had a similar experience to
the one below.
I know that I have pulled cards that I have wanted to see in a
spread when doing a self reading ( so lack of an " objective' focus here) but until recently I have never had them appear when someone else was doing the reading for me .
Last month I had a reading . At the time I was convinced that
certain things would materialise in the future because I had already set events in motion , and it seemed highly likely that they would pan out . The reading reflected these things as strong future probables ( I wont say 'realities") . I will add that I said nothing (!!) for the first 50 minutes . The guy just talked and talked , and barely gave me a glance.
However ! Within the last month alot has come to light . It turns out that I have mis read some situations , and others have mis understood me ( due to cultural / language differences) . Messages and "directions" ( from me ) have become garbled , or , like chinese whispers , have transmuted into something completely different !! I have in effect been keeping track of a whole set of cross purposes for the last month .
The result is that I have " missed the boat " and cannot see how I can get things back on track !!
This makes me think about how we "filter" out our querants thoughts when we are doing a reading ? I would have thought that we can normally (??!!) distinguish between what they want / believe will happen from what is actually most likely to occur ?
Of course it might be possible that I can alter course, and make them a "reality "again ....but I'm really not so sure this time and some opportunities would appear to have been well and truely lost.
I will add that the rest of his reading was excellent .......and I lay no "blame" at his door . I am just currious to know what happened , and if anyone has any similar stories.

Just wondering did you shuffle the cards at all? or did he do it? because if you shuffeld the cards you could of put your desires into it but if as you say you missed the boat and don't know how to get back on track, well ask the cards how to get back on track, or ask why did you miss the signs in the first place it is hard to look for the mysterious or signs in everyday life. I never seem to have a problem with filtering out the seekers feelings and I always get them to shuffle the cards, if they don't answer their question then it's because there is something more pressing that they can't see, or simply they are not meant to know yet. It is hard to read for yourself I do it all the time, but sometimes you can see so clearly what will happen that you can't quiet belive it will happen no matter how good you are I hope I have answered you question an not rambled on to much! Blessings

We create our own reality. Then, we live in it. Some of us are better than others in doing this, some of us vary greatly in how well we do it from moment to moment. So, is there a problem? You had a strong and committed focus. The cards reflected that. You had already set things in motion -- your choice, your focus, your reality.
Then you realized the game you were playing with yourself. Now, you really can 1) focus on something new, or 2) pause, think about what you learned, and wait for a better vision or opportunity to present itself. At times we seem to have to go with the flow. At other times we have the power to direct changes in our life -- although not always the outcome.
I think you are right in that you can't now go back are reestablish previous paths. Once you learn something you have to move forward with it -- some sort of cosmic law I think. Good luck. Dave

Tatotlova: we both shuffled the cards .....but I've just realised what the issue really is . I had only given a cursory glance at the printed info. about this guy .....and last night , on taking a second look , the word "psychic" jumped out and bit me !!
I think this explains alot . He was most definately picking up my thoughts / expectations about future events and somehow superimposed some of this onto the cards .
The one who should have been "filtering" is infact me !!
I think I've just been taught a valuable lesson * wry smile *
