Middle of the cards

How do you read? Do you look at the whole card, what pops out or do you ever just start at the middle and work your way around? I usually just start reading but I was thinking that If you started at the middle and noticed where everything was sitting in the card, this would make for a good reading also. Some cards have more going on in different spaces.

Now I'm going to have to pull some cards to check... seems like whatever seems to draw my attention first, which probably would be the center, most paintings are done so that there is a focal point that draws your eye. Sometimes it's almost like a path, I don't know about other cultures but I was taught to lead the eye starting from the right side of the page. Where do you come up with these questions??? I'm glad you do, keeps me on my toes and opens my eyes and mind to new things.

"where do I come up with these questions" I try to think of things that we don't always post about. I usually do things backwards so maybe I'm in my middle of learning going back to the beginning. Now see with your answer, I didn't know about "...lead the eye starting from the right side of the page." I usually read magazines from the last page to the first. Don't know why. So I probably learn Tarot backwards also. LOL

Always questions that make me think about what I do without thinking. I look at the main figure in the card, then move my gaze over the secondary elements, holding the position meaning or question in mind--without thinking--and wait for a gut feeling that says something in particular has special meaning. Then the words of what the meaning is rises into my consciousness. This movement can happen in an instant or take several minutes.

I like this ros as I am entering a whole new way of reading. i lay out three cards to start. then I read them right to left. and I lay them out right to left too.... except sometimes I see that the left card is first...or the middle...depends on the story. And funny enough when i start to speak i always, always always say....'okay now' this is weird. I try to say something else and then say whatever it is then say 'okay now'. odd.
