5 years with Anjas Tarot

Anjas Tarot has been on the Internet for 5 years now. And it is with regret that my announcement is that Anjas Tarot is taken down. I know there are lots of you using Anja Tarot even on a daily basis - so take note - site will be down for good december 1st 2004. Time to get those printers running if you wanna safe your fave spreads or even keep the beginner's manual for reference. thank you all for support, spreads and ideas - I have had a great time building the site. Thank you all so much. yes I too am sorry to see it go ... it will get back up there once I figure out how. My decision is based on family issues - my ex-husband is the one maintaining the family server, and due to family disputes I have decided to cut the wire of connection. Technically this means I have no server after dec1st. AnjasTarot is a 4-5mb site aprox 400 pages big and yes I could easily make it even bigger and greater - but there is no way I am able to pay the kind of money a site this size would cost using an external host. Feel free to print anything you want to save for your journals ...

It doesn't seem to me that the space for a site that size should be expensive at all. I use a website host that provides 200 MB of space for $6.95 a month; 400MB for $8.95. I've had three or four different sites hosted there over a period of several years and they are very reliable. If your site is only 4-5MB as you say, you'd easily fit it and have plenty of room for expansion. Just a thought; but perhaps there are other factors and contingencies that I'm unaware of. It just seems a shame that your site has to disappear, even temporarily.

I am very sad to hear this :( Your site is one of the best and user-friendly sites I've seen and used. But I hope this would not mean that you will not be AT anymore. I am amazed at people like you who unselfishly share their knowledge to complete strangers without asking for anything in return. I do hope and pray that you will put up a new site because Anja's Tarot the site is such a great contribution to the tarot community. Thank you again for the site because it has helped me so much.

Sorry guys, Anjas Tarot is utterly gone - only exists in my memory. Things have been ugly and the webpage was unfortunately one of the triumphs my ex had to be mean - so it is gone for good. Thanks all for your pm's and messages.

This is very sad news indeed! This site has been a inspiration and great help to many people over time and I am profoundly sad to see it go...I have been visiting many times lately thinking that perhaps, just perhaps, things would be up and running again, but with no luck.... Hi bec I'm sorry to hear about your tarot-site.... I didn't even know it existed until I read this thread (and I'm from Denmark) because some years ago I stopped searching for danish sites and just 'stayed' here!!!!! ØV!!!!!!!!!
