Usually when I read for people, it is about how they improve their lives, or regarding any issues theu might have.
But.
Suppose somebody (theoretical) didn't have any issues or problems. Suppose there was a perfect person, how would a reading like that look like?

Probably it would focus on the things/obstacles the perfect person would meet in the future. :)

Ye, but what cards would show up?

Ok, fake CC:
the first 2 cards Hmmm..
10 of Cups Crossed by the Chariot.
Succes, and having the reins, together with a general feeling of well-being with friends.
The Root:
Probably a self-knowledge card, either The Hermit or the High Priestress :)
Past:
Could be anything.
Goal:
Hmmm, what would the goal be? Maybe 9 of Cups, even more happiness...
Future:
Whatever
The last 4, I have no idea... :)
Just out of my head :)

Instead of doing a theoretical reading for a perfect person... why not do a real reading for me :D ?!?!

lol closrapexa,
is there such a thing as a perfect person, and im not saying jmd isnt,
most people want the cards read when they have times of trouble or worry to kind of help and guide them. if it was me doing a reading for the perfect person, i guess i would do a general reading, and i would wait to see what cards came up, that this perfect person might have pushed a problem to 1 side, and thought they could either handle or thought it wasnt important to worry to much about.
i would do a general reading. i hope this has helped.

A spread for the perfect person (how boring!) might be filled with all the majors (no mundane qualities in THIS person), with the best interpretation of each:
achievement (World),
compassion (Empress),
skills (Magician),
willing sacrifice (Hanged Man),
playfulness (Devil),
ability to transform (Death)
good cheer (Sun),
etc.
But then what is there to do in life? Go out and help a person with a problem, I'd think--share that wonderfulness!
How about the cards for the person with the most flaws? Maybe the same cards with the "worst" interpretation of each? The most twisted version of each major would be very scary!

Why don't you show us a picture of you and prove us how perfect you are? :D

I'm sure that I would also be a 'perfect person to do a reading on'... and it's also interesting how ambiguous both that phrase and the one I wrote are ('Instead of doing a theoretical reading for a perfect person... why not do a real reading for me')...
But I suppose that I should also have taken the original question a little more seriously than the playfulness I rather enjoyed :)
Not all readings are about problems, or issues, or negativities... quite often, they can also be about or for someone who has 'everything currently going their way', with the person quite at ease with their lot.
There is no reason for either the cards or the interpretation to likewise not reflect this - cards which may fall may indeed show quietude, tolerance, love, happiness, and timeliness...
It's a little like going to a medical doctor when one is quite healthy - a general checkup, or even a full-blown Chinese medical assessment may indeed be also a wise precautionary move.
If all is well, and the cards fall out in such a way that this is reflected therein, it is the reader's temptation to want to see what kinds of problems may be presented which is to be watched for... for some indeed, the reading may be a joy and a reassurance (which they perhaps do not even need).

I do have some spies, and I have some inside information, and it appears, (I've paid them handsomely as you can imagine) that jmd is actually pretty close to perfect. :D
