Hi Everyone Long time since I have been here, but glad I am back. I need help in finding my Personality, Soul Card, Hidden factor Card and Year Card. I have tried, but not sure if I am correct or not. Here is my date of birth August 30, 1965 Thank you all for your help in this. Stargarzing Always !!!

How do you work out Personality, Soul and Year Cards? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the formula for Personality and Soul cards: Personality & Soul Cards Month you were born: 8 Day you were born: 30 Year you were born: 1965 Equals: 2003 Add each digitL 2+0+0+3=23 If you have double digit answer, add again = 5 My personality Number is 5 (the higher of the two numbers if 22 or less). The Major Arcana Card corresponding to this number is:Hierophant (PERSONALITY CARD) My soul card is:5 (the single digit number in your final reduction). The Major Arcana Card corresponding to this number is Hierophant (SOUL CARD) So is this right for Stargazing?

Not down as usual addition. So no. I don't think you would come out with 2004 if you did it the way it's indicated above. Again...I direct Stargazer to the second post where I have MoonGold's thread posted in there.

I edited my 1st post and it now reflects the RIGHT month:) Or not if you don't add down...UGH OK, sample--is this right? Jan 1 Date 17 Year 1955 (you'd use the full 4 digits for the year?) -------------- 1973 Total 1+9+7+3=20 So 20 would be the Personality Card number based on my actual birthday? And as such, my other number : 1+17+2003 = 2021 which is 2+2+1=5 So Five is the Soul Card for me. Hmm, Judgment & Heirophant.... Here is a sample from that link. I'm sure 2003 is right, isn't it???

Hidden Factor number is 11 now some see that as Strength and some see that as Justice...whichever you, personally , look at it.

Are you sure you keep going down if it is any double digit? Then you could only get 1 through 9. I think if it comes to the number of any tarot card you stop there. 1 to 22 (say 22 is The Fool, because otherwise you could never get that one)

The method give in Tarot for yourself is this: add (from your date of birth) the day, the month and the year (i.e. 6+11+1990 = 2007) Then reduce this number (i.e. 2+7=9) The number you get is then your personality card, if this is a 2 digit number you reduce it again to get you soul card, if it is a single digit number then it is also your soul card. Hope this is helpful.

Ok, it might be that I am especially dense here...but how is the personality card different from the year card? When reading the explanation on how to add it up it seems like the same.....can anyone help me out?!:) I have figured out the personality and soul card, but the year card is still not clear to me..... Cielo Oops....ok, I AM dense, just realized that I hadn't read the instructions right....sorry......;)

Happy to see that the instructions helped! :) It's fun playing with the numbers...and especially when you figure it out and say "Hey! I get it!" Takes the practice though...just like Tarot but without all the symbology that is included with the cards.

When you add the digits in your birthdate numbers, keep any number from 1 to 22. The resulting number is your Personality number. Your Personality card in Tarot indicates personality characteristics you develop easily and lessons that you learn early in your life as they seem to resonate with your essential nature. To get your Soul card number, you then reduce the numbers and the corresponding Tarot card becomes your soul card. Your Soul card indicates your Soul purpose: those qualities in yourself that you must express and use in order to feel fulfilled in whatever you do, Those people who have just the same Personality/Soul card are those whose birthdate numbers summed to more than 22, thus outside the ambit of the Major Arcana. If the numbers reduce in the first instance to root numbers, the corresponding Tarot card becomes both Soul and Personality card. This information comes from Mary Greer's Tarot Constellations .
