Question about reading

I hope I am posting this in the right place. I had court yesterday to (hopefully) end a year long battle for child support. My question is : After the Judge listened to testimony he said he would make his decision in 7-10 days. Is it possible to do a reading to find out how/what the judge is thinking/deciding? Of course you can do such a reading! However, one of my golden rules is this: First define the question. That's not as easy as it sounds. Once you have a definative question, then you can try a suitable spread. Try looking around AT for a spread that is compatable with the question. Then ask... Becareful with interpretation. You are not neutral on the answer, and so may read a certain way, because that's the answer you want. Also, and I don't know if all will agree with me, it is possible to influence the Tarot cards. In short, be open minded, and don't 'push' for an answer. Finally, good luck! If you need help, you can publish your reading, and allow others to comment on it.

Thank you Osher ~ I will give myself a few days for the emotions of yesterday to calm down - then I will try a reading. I have a very hard time reading for myself - I will definitely take your advice and post my reading. I know the input from others will help me to see the answer more clearly. If the judge was any good he will arrive at the right decision.In the meantime make sure all the suits except coins are removed from the deck first!G.

Im curious Gareth...why should she remove all the suits except for pentacles? I think all the suits would make for a good reading regarding this issue.

Same question here for Gareth, do you mean take out other suits from now until the day Michelle decides to do the reading or until the judge decisition? Is that some kind of visualization or spell?

Sorry Michelle I focused on the answer from Gareth and forgot to post something about your question... As I'm not sure how to ask about judge's thinking, If I were under the situation you described, my reading would be more about asking for the attitutes and actions that would help me before and after judge decisition, so you would be able to anticipate what resources and/or support you'll need. I hope other members can advice on the right way to ask. My best wishes for you to get the outcome you desire.

I sincerely thank you all for your good thoughts and well wishes. Hopefully, the judge will make a good decision. I simply requested that my daughters receive the support that the state deems fair. Flavio ~ excellent advice ! It would be very beneficial to mentally prepare myself for the outcome - good or bad. Now, I just have to figure out the best way to phrase my question. As Michelle wants Child support yes it was a sort of spell.More chance she would have coins!!!Pentacles deal with these issues the best.

Thank you Gareth ~ I have not done a reading yet ( I'm still fuming) - but, will take your advice and use Pentacles. At the risk of sounding stupid - should I use the Major Arcana, too?
