Tarot-Dream Symbolism F-I-V-E

Paradox  26 Nov 2004
Ok, I had a crazy dream a couple of nights ago. I did horrible on a [scantron] test, but at one spot it wasn't the normal bubbles. There were boxes, and written out was F-I-V-E. Well, the night before I had been flipping through my tarot deck, and the major arcana would flip up constantly. The three cards that flipped up the most were the Moon, Justice, and the Hierophant. Since the Hierophant is #5, I believe that my dream was using the Tarot as symbols in my dream. Any ideas?

Paradox: No idea what a scantron test is. Are bubbles part of the test or a feature of it?

Can ye write the dream in the present tense, as if re-living it? Doing so can prompt recall of the dream in more detail & provide a better means towards its interpretation.

I tend to see the dream as an anxiety dream, reflective of a concern. Possibly even relate back to the cards of The Moon, Justice, Hierophant & the curiosity/concern over their significance.

Applying the "symbols" or objects in the dream to the cards in a free-associative context--

18-The Moon: Generally, this can pertain to the unknown or the hidden. The illusory. Dreams. The emotions.

Bubbles. That of dreams, the imagination & the origin of the expression: Burst one's bubble. &/or pertaining to the emotions, which can suddenly arise or dissipate; ebb & flow like the tide according to the Moon.

11-Justice: Law & order. Structure.

Boxes. Their shape & straight lines suggestive of structure & order. May also refer to "the test" in the dream.

5-The Hierophant: The conventional or traditional. Perhaps related to having "to toe the line". Having to conform or making something fit (into a box).

F-I-V-E. The number 5 can refer to instability; change; imperfection--hence, representative of man, the human condition or man in the earth plane.

Fulgour: Very, very interesting & thanks!

I forgot to include that 5 is the testing number, pertaining to incompletion or imperfection.
