Do you mean, the right way to communicate a question to the Tarot, or a right way to phrase or format a question?

There's a right way? Oh heck, I've been making it read my mind and just think questions at it.

I think about the question intently, and allow it to flow out of me and to the cards. Some people prefer to speak it. I guess it's whatever you feel comfortable with. There is no right or wrong

Sometimes I think in the question while shuffling others I hold the deck in front of me with both hands and ask the question before shuffling, using both methods had gave me accurate readings.
As Osher said, whatever you feel comfortable with is the right way.

lol Me, too. And when I'm really tired, I let it tell me whatever it will, effectively making it formulate the question as well as the answer.
