Well, heck.
I've lost my Thoth deck. It is my favorite.
I have lots of others, but the only one that ever gets used on a regular basis is the Thoth.
This will teach me to be neglectful of housekeeping.
I suppose this will be a good chance to just jump in and use my favorite new deck (The Fradella Adventure Tarot) and my Steampunk Sweetheart (The Victoria Regina deck, which I think is delightfully like my favorite kind of sci-fi, the subcategory that mixes fantastic elements with Victorian culture.)
(Yes. I nickname my decks. I can't just call them "Bob" you know. . .)
If the universe wanted me to clean my apartment, it could have been subtler, you know. . .heh.

Dear HeyElan... this quote remembered me an explanation I read sometime ago about why do we have nightmares, the Universe sent you messages through dreams but as they are "only dreams" we don't put enough attention to the message, but when we reject a lot of times the message from the Universe it sent us a nightmare so we get scared and look for the meaning of it, take what is worth of all this experience and do the house keeping the Thoth will appear sooner or later and your home will be ready to receive the new year  I'll take this thread as a warning, I've to do a very severe end-of-year cleaning myself, I'll do that before my dear Arcus Arcanum dissapears on a mountain of papers and laundry.

hey there, HeyElan!
A lost deck can be an eye opener.
When my favorite reading deck was lost (and I had thought gone forever-lost!) I had an excellent opportunity to look into other decks, new ways of reading and new kinds of tarot thinking.
Found this forum. Made lots of friends.
I love both my Fradella Adventure and my Victoria Regina...along with about another dozen decks that I would never have explored if it were not for my deck getting lost.
Forget cleaning for now. Take a look at those other decks. Buy a few more, too! Be grateful for the chance to discover something new and explore another path.
By the time your Thoth shows up again...you will have grown as a tarot student!
It happened to me!
Blessings on your new adventures!

Well, yes: this COULD be an opportunity for expansion and learning, OR Providence attempting to get you to houseclean,...or both. Why not get out another deck, and ask the cards? They're not just for the "heavy" issues, after all.
