Lust or Justice?

I was reading about everybody calculating and discussing their year card and I calculated mine, and it is 11. Now I am confused at a cross-roads - am I going to have Lust year or Justice in 2005? My favorite deck is Thoth and 11 is Lust, but it seems too much passion after all the changes of 10th year. Or is it Justice, in any case? have no idea. Help anybody? Or I don't know how to prepare myself. thanks

According to the artist, the title of this card means, "Joy in Desire." As in "lust for life..."

I have the same question, I am waiting to hear the answers, for cards 8 and 11. In half my deck, 8 is Strength and 11 is Justice. In the other half it is reversed and 8 is Justice and 11 is Strength. Now when your Tarot year is either 8 ir 11, how are you supposed to know which one it is? Bar

I guess I will have to spend half of the year in "Joy in Desire." As in "lust for life..." and the other half (according to "Thirteen's Tarot Card Meanings" book) "do whatever is necessary to bring things back into balance, physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually..." this is probably what this year is all about :)

Fulgour ~ Can't anyone start a poll? Hey you guys with dilemma! Just make a choice. What feels right! For the Thothites, the Life time cards system was developed initally by Angeles Arriens, a prominent Thoth teacher. Mary Greer built her system on the constellations conceptialized by Arriens. If I was a Thothite I'd go with Lust and if I was an RWS person I'd go with Justice. Mary Greer comments that if a particular card does not seem appropriate think about why. That might be your growing edge.

Sorry, but I can't start a POLL myself... but I think it would be a good idea here, with the Year Card selections and all :) I did a Forum 'search' and didn't find one.

Thanks Fulgour and Moongold. I feel I'd go with Lust, but afraid there will be Justice, after. And I do not know how to do POLL. Can you set it up? This way we can decide. Thanks

With the forum upgrade I can't find how to start a poll but I will try to find out. It may be that they are for subscribers only. I'm not sure. If there was to be a poll, would the question be: If your year card was 11, what card would choose - Justice or Strength (Lust)? And people could explain why in their subsequent posts if they wanted to go that far. Does that sound right?

Let me see... there's the basic question for now, which to choose for a Year Card for ~ so to keep it simple, it could be specifically just for that... but I see how it could get tricky 8 or 11 or 8 or? It would be interesting to try something like: Year Cards Justice and Strength: What Number? Number 8 (One Vote) __Justice __Strength Number 11 (One Vote) __Strength __Justice (The obvious redundancy might actually be revealing!) :)
