Well my friends always want me to do them readings regarding love relationships -- you know, high school!:D
But well, I'm always confused what kind of cards will definitely show that the other person has a romance in mind towards the querent?
Well what i mean is, what cards do you think that show up will definitely show a big chance for a romance relationship?
Thanks a lot:)

Well I jst wonder, sometimes temperance card can indicates that the other person would love to be just best friend with the querent.....then how should we interpret it? According to what other cards we can tell it exactly as a possibly romance?
Blessings,

I have seen Temperance indicate that magical 'chemistry' between people before. After all, it is a card about blending two things together and making something magical!
I would be inclined to see a possible romance if Temperance were combined with any of the cards contradiction listed. However, Temperance with say...the Moon, or the 7 of cups would not indicate a romance. So it really depends on all the cards and how they interact with each other. :)

Knight of cups can mean that though the person has tender feelings towards the querent, they are a bit dreamy and the querent might have to make the first move (gently).
The 3 of cups might mean someone who just wants fun - or else that love that has blossomed (2 cups) will reach an intermediary peak. Depends on the cards around. The 4 of cups is often thought to mean "not counting your blessings" but it can just mean someone who is taking time out while still loving - so "bide your time" might be a message (again, depends on surrounding cards too). Four is stability, so if the querent's question is "what does he/she think?" before a romance has started, it could be that the person is projecting to herself/himself a matured relationship immediately, before going through any of the heady in-love-but-uncertain stages and thus is turned off (and thus indicating a fear of risk-taking and of letting go). Or, in relatin with other cards, the 4 of cups can mean that it is the querent who is projecting that energy, and he/she turns the other off because they feel immediately trapped, rather than enchanted, by the querent. The message there would be "loosen up, don't seek certainty, enjoy the mystery of falling in love, and don't try and pin someone down like a butterfly. Love is fragile, let it find its own pace and certainty."
I often think of the 4 of wands as romance, indicating both passion and a will to commit, joy and stability - but neither can be forced. They are gifts.
The 7 pentacles can show slow maturing of feelings. The 8 pentacles can mean the relationship needs more investment yet before it can blossom.
According to Rachel Pollack, the 8 of wands are the arrows of love - action in love! (but it can also mean that the querent will be shot down, depending on the other cards...)
Among the Majors - the Lovers, of course, is ROMANCE, with all its joy, drama, choices, etc. The Devil is a romance going badly, or an obsession with someone, or a person who is actually bad for one but with whom one has a strong emotional or sexual bond. It can also mean, simply, a strong lust! The Empress can show sensual attraction, or that the other finds the querent sexy, and the Sun can mean happiness in love (as well as clarity...)again, all these interpretations depend on the question asked and the other cards. But remember the progression idea - from the intimation of the ace to the fullness (and even at times the surfeit) of the tens. The cups, symbolising emotion, and the wands, symbolising libido, can take you through someone's story. The rapport between you and the querent, the vibrations you get from her, will help you there.
Oh, and the fool can mean - go for it; and the Magician can mean - you can do it! (or they can mean - it would be foolish; and "he's out to trick you". Ah! now it gets complicated....don't worry, I must be 20 years your senior and it's no easier now;-)

i agree with all that has been said, actually i was thinking all of that, just did not have enough sense to say it. i was just thinking of a list that would describe a romance, not necessarly a good one.

The Prince of Cups in my Ancestral Path deck.:-) I got that card recently. It is a knight in shining armour (Lancelot) or according to the book:
"The romantic dreamer--warm impassione, attactive, appealing. Setting out on life's journey with all the romantic idealism of youth. Leaving home, travelling further along the path. An artist:musician, dancer, painter, poet or writer. The idealized lover. You can't imagine how much I hope this prediction comes true. LOL
Another deck I have on order, but have not gotten yet is the Lover's Path Tarot. I got it for just that, relatiuonship questions. I'll bet that one would be useful for you too when reading for your friends on this type of issue,
Hope some of this helps
