I want to scan some cards into my computer and print some out to put on the cover of my uni books. I thought they could be a kind of inspiration while I study, or maybe give me some guidance. Or even motivation to study!
Are there any cards you would recomend me to scan in? Any cards that you find particularly to do with study or motivation etc.?

Apart from what appeals to you personally, it may also depend on what you are studying. For example, for law I may cover it (to remind me to also transcend the studies) with cards of Justice.
If you are studying Australian archaeology or anthropology, then perhaps covering the books with the Dreamtime tarot, or the stone tarot, may be relevant.
As a general card of inspiration and guidance, then the Papess or the Pope may also be quite useful.
A King of Batons may also remind you that it is not only reading, but writing that is required...

Thank you for your reply. I have already picked out some cards that appeal to me specifically, but I thought that perhaps there is some cards I may have missed.
I am studying communication (mostly written) with some ancient history thrown in. I would love to be a professional fiction writer, if that is any help at all.

I often connect the Page of Pentacles with study.
There are probably lots of possibilities; a few other: for doing work: 3 pentacles, 8 pentacles. Clear thinking: ace of swords. Those spring to my mind :)

The Magician definately comes to mind - especially as it is linked astrologically with Mercury, the planet of communication and intellect :)

Oddly enough, I connect the Hanged Man with history. I don't know if that associated would work for everyone though.
Another thing to consider are your study habits. Do you need more motivation? Wands is the way to go to stimulate that. Have trouble with the concepts? Swords. Never feel like putting all the details together? Pentacles. Not loving what you do? Cups.
I like your idea!
