Whats your favorite card & Which deck is it from?
Mine is the Magician from the Celtic Dragon.(though in all honesty the magician is one of my favorites from allmost every deck. I have a deep connection with this archetype.)

That would be the Hermit for he likes to be by himself a lot, (like me)
and for his wisdom, ( soo Not like me, thereby being a great role model.)
I like the Hermit in most All the decks, let me run thru the majority of mine for comparison, and I'll post back!
I also love his lantern,(the light in the darkness, like) and all it can stand for.

That's a challenge, Magi!
I have several, one at least from each deck I own.
But my A-list would be:
- 2 of Pentacles from the Robin Wood - the beautiful dancer on the tightrope. She has helped me past some dangerous spots.
- the Empress and the 2 of wands from the Mythic deck - the Empress is astonishing: Demeter, walking through a field with a crown shaped like a city on her head - signifiying the marriage of agriculture and civilisation, of fertility and creativity.
- the Wheel of Fortune from the Tarot of Prague - such a good representation of change and constancy; plus, the 3 of wands - wonderfully evocative of exploration and the stregth of character needed to face up to challenges; and the 9 of cups -just a lovely warm, get together-with-friends-around-a-mug-of-ale kind of card.
- XVIII- La Luna from the Tarocchi di Vetro - I don't know the deck very well yet, but this card called to me from the start. I seem to be drawn right inside its delicate geometry.
- XVIIII-Le Soleil from the Conver Tarot de Marseille - a complex card, it draws my eye and my mind. Those two young people (boy an girl?) touching each other - in love? in reassurance? in play? And that strange alchemical sun, luminous, cross-eyed, pursing its lips, sweating. I think it will take me a long time to understand that card.
- II-La Papesse from the Dodal Tarot de Marseille - a wonderful expression, half-teasing half-compassionate, she looks more down-to-earth than most Papesses and High Priestesses, but still otherworldy and knowing.
- V-Le Pape from the Noblet Tarot de Marseille - he looks like a lovely and wise teacher, who was not born yesterday, and with a sense of humour.
- XVI- La Maison -Dieu (the Tower) and XV-Le Diable from the Camoin-Jodorowski Tarot de Marseille (I haven't decided yet- I've not worked with it for long). That Devil has me in hoops, he's so over-the-top. A rich ripe card. And the Maison-Dieu - Jodo and Camoin added a door to the tower (from a Besançon deck) and I rather like it. I like it that we can't tell if the people are falling, leaping or doing summersaults. It adds to the ambiguity of the card.
If I had to choose only one? That's hard. Right now I would say the Dodal Papesse.

Wow, that's a hard one!
From the RWS, I'd have to say the Hermit from the Majors, but the one I always gravitate toward is the 8 of Swords. My strongest identification is with that card. The Magician from the Haindl catches my eye too.

I like the Moon cards from the Morgan Greer and the DruidCraft.
The Empress from the DruidCraft, Morgan Greer and Thoth.

I wouldn't say I have a favorite card in particular, but I seem to have a card that thinks of me as it's favorite.
And that's the Emperess from my Lord of the Rings deck. She's held a very specially meaning to me and helped me through so tough spots.

The Star is my favorite card over all, and The Star in Servants of the Light shines the brightest. I also like the story about The Star Woman in Songs for the Journey Home--about learning that it is not enough to worship the Star light in another, she has to remember it in herself.

I'm familiar mostly with the RWS deck, my favorites are Strenght and Death from the majors, 8 of wands from minors. The Lovers is special to me since it's my soul and personality card. The 2 and 3 of wands I always like when they turn up.
I dislike The Empress I have no idea why, and the whole pentacles suit I'm not drawn to, don't know why as well.

The Eight of Pentacles in the Goddess Tarot for the beauty of the image. As soon as I saw it I knew it was my favourite.:-)

I'd have to say Temperance in the World Spirit Tarot. The glorious blue being on this card has a facial expression that suggests contentment, even serenity, unlike some decks that portray sadness or disappointment.
I also like the 4 of chalices in the Universal. Other RW decks depict the 4th cup being handed to the person on the card, but the woman on the Universal card looks dejected and, more importantly, oblivious to the opportunity. Not crazy about the style of this deck but, for me, this particular card portrays the meaning better than any other deck I've seen.

Oh I am so fickle!! My favourite card changes with each new Deck
with Osho it was the Majician, Navigators the Ten of Wands,Gilded was the five Swords. My latest love is Estensi and my very favourite card in the World(for the time being)is the 8 of Chalices. A very pregnant Matron looks at the toddler on the wall in a tired prissy way "out of the mouths of babes" or something to that effect going through her mind, or maybe she is wondering what the toddler placed in her 8 cups!!. Must add that I have loved all my Hermits and disliked all my Heirophants(Something Jungian about that!)Regards Rosanne

too hard a question!
I like many cards...and from many many decks...
Off the top of my head I would have to say...
The Star,(from most decks...but particularly the Aquarian)
The Magician,(Sakki Sakki and Hanson Roberts are tops!)
3 of Pentacles,(I love the RWS and the Morgan Greer)
and Wheel of Fortune, (BB cats is my new Fav...but I have a coincidental soft spot for the Inner Child's)
And I am sure there are many more I am not thinking of...which I will edit in later!

I have thunk about it and thunk about it, and I was thunking that it must be The Fool, Hermis, Hanged Man and Death, since those are the cards wich will make or break a deck for me... I have lots of others that I really like too...but then I started thunking about it some more and it came to mine my real favorite is the 7 of Swords...I know that sounds kinda weird... but there you have it.
It is the one card that seems to be always in my thoughts. Must be my line of work ;)

Tough but interesting question indeed!!!!
Have to say that my favorite card in almost every deck is the Empress, I highly identify with that card.
But, other than that,- RWS- 2 of Cups
The Gilded, Queen of Cups, The Empress
Sakki-Sakki- The Wheel of Furtune
DruidCraft- The High Priestess
Osho Zen - Abundence
I'm sure there are many more......:)

I absolutely love the seven of cups from the RWS deck, I think it's because of the symbolism and the amount of stuff going on in it - and I guess I love a bit of the unknown....just what is that under the shining shroud??!!!

What an interesting question. I'd have to say...hmmm...
The 6 of Chalices from the Secret, because it's such a joyful and carefree image.
Also from the Secret, the 8 of swords. It's not a happy image, but the emotion of the card really sticks with me.
I also love the magician from the Buckland Romani deck. So happy there's a magician that's a woman in one of the decks I own!
I also love the devil in the Housewives' tarot. First time I found myself laughing when I saw the devil card.
Finally, the Knight of Wands and Ace of Cups from the Gilded Tarot. The strength of those two cards sold me the deck, and they're still my favorites.
Wow - and that's just off the top of my head. I think if I really sat down and thought about it, I'd have a few more to add.
Out of all of them, I'd have to say the Ace of Cups from the Gilded though. Something about that card just speaks to me.

The Star,(from most decks...but particularly the Aquarian)
I love that bird on the Aquarian! I was a little disappointed to see that he went more traditional for the New Palladini.

"Abundance," the King of Rainbows card from the Osho Zen. It reminds me that we all have everything we really need already. The Queen of Rainbows, "Flowering," isn't bad, either. Or maybe I just like every card in this deck :)

Ace of Cups, Gilded Tarot. An eye emitting rays of light above a golden chalice. The eye is surrounded by moons in different phases, the chalice is floating on the ocean, and the sky in the background is shading from night to morning. It's just such a serene, peaceful, evocative card. It really resonates with me.

Oooh, so many, so many...what to choose...
The Temperance in the Greenwood (two "seahorses" intertwined)
The Ace of Cups in the Ancestral Path (for the jumping dolphin)
The Moon in Samantha's Tarot (just the right feeling)
The Hanged Man in the Animal Wise (a bat)
The Princess of Cups in the DruidCraft (but that deck is full of favourites :D )

I think i have two, just off the top of my head. The first is the Thoth Death, since it is so full of life (ironically) and a very powerful card. I always kind of like when it shows up in ant spread, since I see it as a new age, the old cobwebs being blown away, making way for new things.
The second is the Morgan-Greer sun. It is the card that is the fullest of life and warmth, like, well, the Sun itself.

My favorite cards seem to change with the phase my life is in. Right now they would be:
8 of wands from the Tarot of the Old Path – This is a wonderful image of a matronly woman sending her brooms out to do her bidding.
L’Amoureux/The Lover from the Tarot de Marseilles deck – This card really added a deeper dimension to the number VI card than any other deck that focuses on the Adam and Eve theme.
The High Priestess from the Robin Wood deck – I don’t know why, I just like it.
My newest deck is the Gothic Tarot of Vampires and I’m not certain I could pick a card that wasn’t my favorite, but I’ve narrowed it down to these two:
The Moon XVIII – my first thought was that the figures in the mirror where past incarnations. Which is a subject of great personal interest to me.
Judgement XX – there’s something beautiful in the vampire’s acceptance of the sun’s power.
Great question!

Osho Zen - 8 of Earth - Ordinariness
This is my favorite card out of all the decks I have ever seen. I'm right there in the cherry orchard, basket over my arm, pink rain ... enjoying the journey and not at all concerned with the destination!

:D the Devil from Tarot Nova - he looks so deliciously mischievous I simply fell in love with him :D
The Devil anyway being the card I look at first and which determines if I like a deck or not, this one absolutely ensnared me from the first moment ;)
BTW: Happy Birthday, Magi!

My favorite card is the moon - if a deck doesn't have a good moon, I am not inclined to buy it. One of my favorites is the Victoria Regina.
I am also fond of the Death card also. Love the Thoth Death, and also the Gaian, and the Kate Banx.

In Tarot cards, I love my Voodoo Tarot...lol. It doesn't seem that popular, and it's been around awhile. But the older it gets, the more it grows on me, the more alive the pictures become and the comfier the deck:-) It gives the most accurate readings ever, it's amazing.
So my absolute favourite cards come from that deck:
The Star - I love the image of a babe in an egg floating through the stars..when I first saw it, something just clicked.
The congo 9(cups) - because that's exactly the way I picture bliss, sitting by a lake, everything around me alive and in balance, me belonging right there, in that body, at that moment in time - and knowing it.
The Queen of Cups(congo): My sig. This Queen is about as passive as a kitty-cat, and definitely not wishy-washy.
