Cats and Tarot

I have a cat called Blacky. Everytime i deal out my cards to do a reading she comes in and watches me. Then when i turn them around she will come and sit down on top of them and wash herself! And then when i move her she gets annoyed and walks away for a while and then comes back and does the same thing!
Does anyone else have a cat or other pet that does something to your tarot cards when you are trying to read them? Or do i just have a individual cat.

Well, sometimes I read at a friends house who has cats. They seem to be around quite a lot when we read.
I've also noticed they, and my dog, will come around a lot when I'm doing Reiki or even massage on someone.
It all must be an energy thing.

Yes, my cats have all done the same thing. There's actually a couple of threads on this if you do a search. :)

Yep, mine do, too. They are even more helpful when I'm wrapping gifts. :D

My mother's West Highland terrier Rosy loves my cards. When we are in the mountains together, she'll come on my bed (I often spread out my cards on a bed, more room) and watches me. She occasionally nudges a card, and I'll pick it. hen shell dash off and scatter the lot without a care in the world...as though to say - don't take yourself too seriously.

My cats always like to sit somewhere that is sure to get your attention: on cards, or a book, or leaning on my keyboard.
They seem to have more interest in my celtic wisdom sticks though (wooden sticks)

I have a long coffee table where I like to lay out the whole deck,
only just either Majors or Minors will fit at a time, that's the size.

Madeline gets anything that hangs over the edge with her tail!
I mean, she comes up and does a turn and just swipes them.

And then every once in a while, right out of nowhere, she lands
on the table and just walks around on the cards, barely making
a mess out of them. I always say that's her doing a reading. :)

PS: I forgot to say, I do have a table just for Tarot readings,
and she has never gone on that one that I know of. =^_^=

Yes, I had cats for nearly 20 years. Yhey will sit on pieces of paper lying on a flat surface. Try and read a newspaper flat on a table around a cat. :)
